"Erm, did I miss something?" Beth looked at us both. She paused and her eyes went wide, "is he milkboy?"
I looked at Jack and he was looking back at me confused. I mean he has just been referred to as milk boy. No wonder he is confused. I mean I don't even know if he likes milk or.. WHY WAS I THINKING ABOUT MILK!? "I can explain?" I quickly climbed off the counter, making Jack step back.
"Did you get the wi" Brad walked in to my room wearing just his boxers, seeing exactly what we were all seeing right now. Okay maybe this was my worst nightmare?
I looked at Jack and he was holding back a laugh. "Can we please get out the kitchen if you are not Jack?" I put my head in my hands.
"Meet me in your bedroom in five minutes!" Beth said and her and Brad walked out, not to mention her door slam on the way out for effect.
"Dare I ask, the milk boy?" Jack laughed.
I smiled at him, "It's a long story. I am so sorry she just came barging in like that. This is why I didn't want her to know because she is so overbearing." I spoke up, I mean I wasn't exactly lying. That and Sid.
"Yeah, well at least they know and they can maybe give us some time to be us now." He tried to make everything better.
"I'm going to go deal with Beth then I will come back, okay?" I said.
"Okay, I'll be here." He grinned.
I leaned in and pecked his lips and made my way out the kitchen.
Beth was sitting on my bed when I walked in. I closed the door gently and looked at her. "Jack? Seriously?"
"I was going to tell you eventually I just was not banking on you walking in on us first." I stood opposite her.
"Is that? You know lover boy from last night? How long has this been going on?" She still had a tough hard look on her face.
I nodded, "he is a nice boy and he likes me." I shrugged my shoulders.
"You do know after this silly boxing competitions, these boys are going somewhere else. They are not here for a relationship. Maybe just to kill some time." She snapped back.
I frowned, "why are you so against it? Would you rather it was some stranger you had never met? At least you know Jack is a nice boy."
She crossed her arms over her chest, "does he know about Sid?"
I gulped and I felt like I was stepping out of line, "uhm no." I replied quietly.
"I just wanted you to go out and have some fun and you are trying to force a relationship with someone who does not even want one." She continued to argue.
I shook my head, "no just because that is what Brad says to you and because that is what you're looking for that does not mean it is the same for me. I don't want to sleep around with random guys." I gave just as good as I was getting from her.
She sighed, defeated. "Well, are you going to tell him about Sid?" She knew she was beaten.
I gulped, "well no. But I have to tell you something."
She rubbed her temples. "It gets worse?" She groaned.
"I was not exactly honest with you when I told you about Sid." I was so scared to tell her. I just did not want her to look at me differently. But I also needed her advice.
