The kiss didn't last long but it felt like forever in my head. "What's wrong? You look like you are about to throw up?" Beth's voice broke my staring match.

I looked at her, "can I have a drink?" I grabbed her glass, not waiting for an answer and drinking the contents.

"Uhm yeah, I guess you can." She laughed and she started to let herself go and move her body. I was stiff and needed a lot more alcohol before I was able to move so freely.

It did not take long before someone came up behind her and they danced together, the boy whispering in her ear.

I smiled, knowing she was just doing what she wanted to do.

I made my way to the bar and ordered a drink this time. "A double vodka lemonade please." I called out over the music and waited patiently. I had to force myself not to look back at Jack.

I felt so alone and there was nothing I could do. The damage had been done and I had pushed Jack away and anything worth clinging on to was ruined by Richard.

I took a big gulp of my drink and sighed. I looked around the room watching everyone laughing and having fun and I wish I could let myself go like this.

Picking up my drink, I made my way to the office and to sit down at the desk. I grabbed a note pad and pen and began listing theme night ideas; fancy dress bingo, speed dating, quizzes, black tie.

I put my head in my hands, not even this could take my mind off of everything. I looked up as Nick walked in the office. "What a success. The till is going mad. Good job." He grinned.

I sighed, "thanks."

"What's wrong?" He asked.

There was no way I could tell him. "Nothing. I'm okay." I forced a smile.

"Okay, well I was thinking about a theme night maybe once or twice a month. Let's keep up the good work. The customers are happy, staff are busy and happy and so are we." He grinned.

"Yeah you're right." I was not even really listening to him.

"But I need a favour." He said.

I focused on him, almost pleading he will say something that will take my mind off of it.

"I'm trying to get the boxing finale at this club. It will bring in so much money and customers." He explained.

"I thought you were going to be in charge of all the boxing things still?" I looked at him, confused.

"No I am. But because of that I need to be around here for the phone and all the deliveries. There's one other club in London that also want to host the final. I need you to go there and source it out. I want you to find what they have, find what they don't and just get me some information." He continued on.

I smiled, at the healthy distraction. However, London. "You want me to go home?  Go back there?" I gulped.

"It would really help me, Olivia. I'll pay everything. A nice hotel, a nice rental car if you want to get the train, all your food and drink. I just need this favour." He pleaded.

"When?"

"Uhm, you could go next weekend? Friday to Sunday?" He suggested.

I nodded, "yeah I suppose I could hel-"

I was cut off by the commotion from outside the office. "What's that?" Nick asked and we both rushed to the office door.

Jack's POV

I sat in the booth with this blonde girl that Brad had brought along for me tonight. Her name was Tracey. Tracey talks a lot.

She was talking about her pet cat. I was struggling to stay interested.
