No one POV.
When jeongin turned around and he saw who had tapped his shoulder, he felt sick.
He became lightheaded and had to lean on chan for support. His face felt cold and he felt so so scared.
"Hi jeongin." Jeongin's father gave him a menacing smile. Jeongin began to tear up at the mere sound of his fathers voice.
Chan went into protective mode and put himself between the two, making sure jeongin was out of harms way.
"What the fuck are you doing here? You shouldn't be here." Chan spat at the man he despised so much. He was fighting every urge in his body to not beat him senseless.
"I'm here to pick up my son." The man tried to lunge forward and grab jeongin from behind chan but failed when chan had pushed him away.
"Don't fucking touch him." Chan was practically foaming at the mouth from how angry he was. He wouldn't let anything happen to jeongin and he sure as hell wasn't letting this man be anywhere close to him.
Chan pulled out his phone, quickly going to his contacts and in a split second found and called the one he was looking for.
Ms. Val had given him her number incase of an emergency since he was almost always with the younger.
Chan talked to her without ever taking an eye off the man. Making sure he didn't try anything to try and grab jeongin.
They were in the commons of the school right at the entrance. A security guard noticed the uncomfortable look on jeongins face and the angry look on chans and an odd looking grown man in front of them.
He decided to go see what was up.
"Is everything alright over here?" Jeongins father spoke up first, considering chan was still on the phone and couldn't speak up in time.
"Of course sir, im just here to pick up my son but this young man is preventing me from doing so." Fortunately the call had ended so chan was able to give a defense.
"No, actually he's not jeongins current guardian right now so he shouldn't even be here." The guard gave a confused look and wanted to hear from the aforementioned boy.
"Can I please hear from you young man?" Jeongin looked up from behind chan and stepped a bit forward so he wasn't completely hidden behind chan.
He felt a bit safer with a guard there but he still gripped on to chans shirt.
"I- um, I dont want to go with him." Jeongin didnt know what to say. He just wanted to make one thing clear, he wasn't leaving or going anywhere alone with his father under any circumstance.
"Ok, I need some sort of explanation as to what is going on here. Sir are you even supposed to be around this boy?" The guard had a creeping suspicious as to what was going on but without much context, he was still confused.
But before the man could even speak, Ms. Val appeared, seemingly out of nowhere.
"Hello sir, I'm Ms. Val, Jeongin's social worker," she shook hands with the guard and continued.
"Jeongin is currently living with a foster family who are his legal guardians so therefore this man isn't allowed to take him home."
The guard understood what the situation was now. He thanked Mrs. Val and escorted the man out of the building.
"This isn't fair! I'm allowed to see my son. I'm going to take legal action against you! Jeongin, dont forget who raised you. I'll get you back."
The man shouted the whole way out. Making everyone stare in confusion. Jeongin just hid behind chan. He couldn't stop shaking from the adrenaline coursing through his veins.
"Lets get you two out of here, hm?"
