No one POV.

Jeongin held tightly onto Chan's hand as they entered the Counciling office. They had scheduled an appointment the previous day so that when they got there the counciler wouldn't be busy.

The counciler; Mrs. Jihyo gestured for them to sit in the chairs opposite her. Once seated chan was the first to break the silence.

"Mrs. Jihyo jeongin has something very important to tell you." Chan said in a hushed tone. Mrs. Jihyo's attention landed on jeongin and just before he was about to speak she put up her hand in an attempt to stop him.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but I'm required to tell you that if whatever it is that you're about to tell me puts or is putting you or others in danger I am authorized to tell the authorities and your parents. Do you still wish to continue?"

Jeongin nod his head and she gave him a sweet smile. "Then i'm all ears!" Jeongin smiled back at her but his smile quickly faded and he took a deep breath. He looked at chan who gave him a reasuring smile.

"I- um it's m-my dad," Jeongin stopped. He began racking his brain for the right words to use but instead tears started flowing from his eyes.

"I-I'm sorry I just- this is hard to talk about and i-i don't really k-know how to start."

Mrs. Jihyo had her suspicions on what he was getting at but she still needed to hear him say it.

"That's ok, take your time. I understand that some topics are very difficult to talk about." Mrs. Jihyo slid the tissue box towards him and jeongin mumbled out a thank you taking one and blowing his runny nose.

(A/N: I wanna boop his nose so bad)

He continued on and was very picky with his words, not wanting to be misunderstood.

"E-ever since I was young m-my dad would h-hit me and say really mean things t-to me. I always knew something was wrong but it wasn't until I got older when I realized how bad it was," he paused for a moment and took a deep breathe before continuing once again.

"After my m-mom took h-her own life the a-abuse got worse." Chans eyes widened at the youngers words and he couldnt help but look at him with sorrowful eyes.

"Do you feel that when you're around your father that you're in danger?" Jeongin nod his head.

"I haven't been back home since Friday and I fear for my life if I go back." Jeongin let out a sniffle trying to hold back tears.

"Jeongin I am truly sorry that you have had to deal with such things at such a young age. It really isn't fair to you and I promise you that I will do everything in my power to get you out of this situation and into a safe one."

Mrs. Jihyo gave jeongin a reassuring smile. She picked up her phone and dialed the number for cps. Once They told her that they were on their way with police and would investigate further jeongin felt relieved.

Chan held onto his hand and they waited patiently for the authorities to arrive.

I wish more people irl took situations like this more seriously😔

Also sorry for the short break. I've been thinking and instead of posting everyday ill be updating every other day. It just works better with my schedule😅
