No one POV.
Unfortunately hyunjin went to a different school then the two boys so they had to part ways but they would see eachother after.
When chan and jeongin arrived they were still holding hands because jeongin refused to let go of the comfort he felt. He didnt care who saw or what others thought. He felt safe around chan. kinda ironic.
When they walked through the hallway hand in hand people looked at them in shock. The only time anyone saw them interact with eachother was when chan was being mean to the younger.
They walked into their first period class and all eyes were on them. Even the teacher was sat there in bewilderment. They ignored the stares and just took their seats.
Jeongin stared at the door. He wanted to apologize to changbin as soon as he walked in. His eyes stayed glued to the door until he finally walked in.
Jeongin rose from his seat and made his way to changbin. "Oh hey jeongin, glad to see that you're ok. By the way don't stress about the project chan helped us out."
Jeongin stood there in confusion. "I- uh, oh." Changbin could tell that jeongin didn't know what to say so he spoke up again.
"Its ok jeongin haha, I'm just glad you're safe." Jeongin smiled at changbin and thanked him. He assumed that chan must of told him what went on the last few days.
Changbin smiled back at the boy and took his seat. Jeongin made his way back to his seat next to chan. "Did you do my part of the project?" Jeongin asked right as he sat down.
"Oh, y-yeah but don't worry about it." Chan smiled sweetly at the boy. "When did you even have time to do that?"
Chan chuckled "I found some." Before jeongin could even say anything the teacher started to speak and class began.
Jeongin felt bad. He felt so guilty. Chan had already done so much for the boy. First saving him from those bad men, then letting him stay over and sleep in his bed plus he cooked for him, he helped him get away from his father AND now doing his homework for him.
How could I ever repay him? Jeongin thought to himself. He sighed and leaned back in his chair, zoning out and not paying attention to what the teacher was saying.

During lunch jeongin zoned out again. While felix and chan were forming a new found friendship and bonding over aussie things, jeongin was still thinking about what he could do to make it all up to chan.
His thoughts were interrupted by a hand waving in front of his face and once he came to, he could hear his friends calling his name.
"Jeongin? I think this is the longest I've ever seen anyone zone out before," felix kept waving his hand infront of jeongins face only to have the boy slap it away.
"You zoned out for the whole lunch period. That's like almost an hour." Jeongin shrugged and didn’t think much of it but his friends were persistent.
"What could you possibly have been thinking of that could have you zoned out for that long?" Jisung looked at Jeongin with raised eyebrows and the younger just rolled his eyes.
Then the bell rang and they all started to get up. Jeongin decided that he would just ignore the question and just not answer.
They were in the hallway walking to class and after 10 minutes of them asking jeongin what he was thinking about and him brushing it off again they finally gave up and split of to their classes.
