No one POV.

Jeongin woke up the next day with his head pounding. He started to freak out when he didn't recognize his surroundings.

He got up out of the bed but fell back down. He had gotten up too fast and felt light headed increasing his headache even more.

He heard footsteps and sat on the bed, anticipating who was about to walk in. The door opened and he was in shock. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"Oh, your awake." Chan smiled at the confused boy and brought him the glass of water that was in his hands.
"Here drink up, you need it." Jeongin hesitantly took the cup.

"You didn't poison it did you?" Jeongin asked skeptically. Chan laughed and sat down next to jeongin. "No, I did not poison it," Jeongin began to drink and chugged the whole glass.

As soon as jeongin put the glass down on the night stand Chan spoke up "or did I?" Jeongins eyes widened and chan once again laughed. "I'm kidding."

After that they sat in silence. The suffocating air made jeongin feel dizzy but he didn't know what to say. He put two and two together and figured that chan was the one that saved him last night and cleaned the now scabbed cuts on his face.

"T-thank you." Jeongin broke the silence. Chan looked over at the boy and smiled. "Of course, if you want some more water I can get-" was he really that dense? Jeongin thought to himself.

"N-no for saving m-me." Chans face formed an oh shape and looked down at his lap. "Its No problem." Jeongin felt weird. Chan had always bullied him so why was he being so nice to him and helping him?

"Why are you being so nice to me? I thought you hated my guts." Chan looked up at the boy and shook his head. "I don't hate you jeongin." Jeongin couldnt help but feel even more confused.

"Then why do you always bully me?" Chans heart sank. He couldn't tell him that he liked him, there was no way in hell. He sat for a second thinking before finally speaking.

"The truth is.....," he hesitated. He wanted to be honest but was scared of rejection.

"I-I do it to get your attention, because I wanna be friends but everytime I tried you would push me away and think I was joking but I'm not, I never was."

Technically he wasn't lying, he did bully jeongin to get his attention but he didn't just wanna be friends with the boy.

Chan looked down at his lap and he could feel the youngers eyes staring at his face, scanning it for any hint of dishonesty but sighed when he couldn't find any making chan look up at him.

"Please give me a chance innie," chan looked at the younger with pleading eyes and grabbed his hands to hold in his own. "I'll make it up to you, I promise!" Jeongin looked into chans eyes and felt compelled to give in.

"Fine," jeongin said, defeated. Chans face lit up and he was about to give jeongin a hug but was cut off "but, you have to earn my trust before we can officially be labeled as friends."

"Deal!" Chan extended his pinky finger towards jeongin, who connected it with his own. They let go and they sat in a comfortable silence before it was interrupted by the growling of jeongins stomach.

They both laughed and jeongin held his tummy in his hands to settle it down. "Do you wanna go eat some food?" Jeongin nod his head in response and chan pat his head before getting up and walking out of the room with the younger following close behind.

Once in the kitchen chan gestured for the younger to sit down on the bar stool connected to the counter. The younger did as told and sat patiently with his hands in his lap.

"So, what do you wanna eat? I can make you almost anything you want. Key-word almost." Jeongin raised his eyebrows in surprise and smirked. "Oh? Can you now?"

Chan nod his head and put his apron on that displayed big red letters on it that read "kiss the chef." He knew it was cheesy and stupid but that's what he liked about it.

Chan lived alone in a two bedroom studio apartment. When he first moved in he had like no hobbies and became very bored very fast so when he saw a cook book in the store one day he became curious and bought it.

And thats the very short story of how chan picked up his passion for cooking. He liked challenging himself by making very intricate dishes and often finds himself fantazing of being a world renowned chef. (Go ahead, I know yall want to lmao)

When jeongin read the apron he began to blush. Chan saw this and laughed. "W-why are you laughing?" Jeongin asked, becoming more flustered.

"Why are you blushing?" Chan snarkily replied. Jeongin huffed and crossed his arms, looking at anything and everything to avoid chans gaze.

"A-anyways, are you sure you want to cook right now? Its kind of early and we can just walk to the store or something." Chan shook his head. "No its fine, I thoroughly enjoy cooking and I want you to eat my cooking." Chan pouted and jeongin thought it was cute.

"Ok ok, I'm kinda in the mood for a breakfast burrito." Chan smiled and nod his head. "I can do That." He got out all the ingredients and began to cook.

He liked having the boys company while he was cooking, he found it comforting. They talked and laughed about random things and jeongin found it surreal that he was actually enjoying chans company too.

When just a few days ago he absolutely hated chans guts, but seeing this side of chan that he had never seen before gave him a new out look on him.

"Ok I present to you chans breakfast burrito!" Chan dramatically revealed the burrito and put it in front of jeongin making the younger giggle.

The hungry boy took a bite and chan waited eagerly to see his reaction. Once jeongins face lit up chan couldn't help but jump up in excitement.

Jeongin found it cute how happy he got. "Is it good?" Jeongin swallowed his bite and spoke up.

"Its really really good channie, thank you!" Chan blushed when he called him that and smiled fondly when the boy took another bite.
