Seokjin could hear a little knocking on his door. He tried to speak up, but his voice cracked immediately, his mouth only leaving a forced croak. So he just layed down again, not bothering to make another attempt. Who would even like to visit him here?

After a while, he heared yet another knocking. "Jinnie?", a soft voice on the other side called. Seokjin knew that voice. "Are you awake?"

Seokjin tried to sit up, his try only ending in hin falling down again. "Kookiee..", he whined, hoping his visitor could hear him, "come iiiin.."

Jungkook, on the other side, only grinned widely when he opened the door to the unlucky man in the bed. "Jinnie..", he whined now, too, quickly taking Seokjin's side and taking his hand in both of his, "What do you think you're doing, hm?" His voice was even more soft, making Seokjin melt into the little touch. He slowly closed his eyes again, leaning into the broad man to his side. Jungkook carefully carressed his hair. "You're so lucky, Jinnie.. this could have been so much worse."

"I know..", Seokjin whispered, "I'm sorry... how's Jimin?"

"He's doing good. The doctor says he can go home in a few days."

"That's.. good." Seokjin slowly sunk into his bed again, closing his eyes. Now he's feeling safe, with his Jungkookie beside him. No Kim Namjoon would attack him in a hospital, with his strong boyfriend to protect him, and no one would pressure him into something. Although he did find it very suspicious, no one had asked him about the accident. Maybe they asked Jimin. But that was secondary now, he's safe and sound.

Jungkook, on the other hand, couldn't feel more anxious, despite having his Jinnie in his arms. In the next room, there was his friend, his mentor, but most importantly, his boss. His boss that's pretty angry with Seokjin, and Jungkook just knows he's going to shred him later. And here, in this room, his beloved boyfriend of a few months, unknowing that this building is not a real hospital, unknowing of said boss being so near. Jungkook had hoped his little secrets would stand a little longer, until he found the perfect time to tell them. But now, he realized, there's not really a way out.

Seokjin noticed Jungkook was tense. "Are you okay?", he asked, slowly opening his eyes again and gripping Jungkook's hand a little tighter. Jungkook took a deep breath and forced himself to smile. "No...yes...I mean...it's just...you could've died, Jinnie...", he stuttered, but he was telling the truth, "That's not really something I'm okay over, you know?" Seokjin scoffed lightly and tried to sit up, ending in Jungkook softly pushing him down again. "I know what you're trying to tell me.", Jungkook defended himself before Seokjin could even open his mouth, "But I'm serious. This could have ended so incredibly ugly. And yes, it could have. But how would you have reacted if you got informed I crashed against a lightpole and my fucking car is on the edge of exploding?" Seokjin noticed the little tears in Jungkook's eyes. His hands were shaking, his voice almost trembling. But he held himself strong, something Seokjin always admired, but also always pitied him for. "And plus that!", Jungkook exclaimed, gripping Seokjin's hand as tight as he could, Seokjin didn't mind, "Look at all your bandages, Jinnie, your head is completely packed in bandages and your arm's gonna be useles for the next weeks. How am I gonna be okay when you're so incredibly hurt, huh?!"

Jungkook now has lost his control. His tears were streaming down his cheeks, he was almost choking on them and he didn't know how to hide his devastation beside burying his face into Seokjin's lap. The latter started to caress his hair gently, trying to not mess up his little manbun, but enough to let him know he's there. "I know, Kookie... I'm sorry... I'll be more careful next time."

"I sure hope so!", Jungkook weeped. He couldn't bear it. Like Chris said, it was a miracle Seokjin woke up this fast, despite these severe damages, but who knows how good that truly was. Who knows how long he'll be fine like this?

A loud 'thump' could be heard from outside. It sounded like a door slamming, followed by footsteps. Oh no. Oh no, no, no. Jungkook could only assume what happened next, but he knew it was no good. The footsteps came closer, closer, closer. Until they came to a stop. Right before the door. Seokjin looked perplexed. Who would visit him now again? And why did they stop and wait before the door?

Jungkook heard the heavy and, almost, growl-like sigh of his mentor from outside. His teary eyes widened, almost like the deep and fearful orbs of a deet in the spotlight. Or, how he felt, face-to-face with it's hungry predator. Except that there was more of a very sudden, suffocating silence than a life-to-death situation. Jungkook knew why Namjoon did that. He was just calming himself down, outside the door. He always did that, when he was furious.

"Jungkookie..", Seokjin whispered beside him. He lightly pulled his sleeve, gaining Jungkook's attention. He noticed the slight fear and intense frustration in his face, despite the salty marks his tears left. "Is everything alright? Who's that?"

"I..", Jungkook trembled, "My.. my.. b-boss..." He knew he should be honest from now on. At least a bit. "Your boss at the service center?" Jungkook nodded lightly. Seokjin wanted to say something more, to comfort his boyfriend. Maybe it's because he missed a shift or left something at the job? Maybe-

"Jungkook. Come outside. Now."

Seokjin knew the voice from outside the door.

"Or else, Chris might be a little cross with me."

No. No, no, no, no. He wanted to vomit. His stomach was doing cartwheels, his hands trembled. Not him. Not him, here. That's not fair. He clutched onto Jungkook's arm, staring at the door. "Jungkookie.. why is he here.. and.. what do you have to do with him?", he mumbled against his strong boyfriend's back. The strong boyfriend that's supposed to protect him. The strong boyfriend that slowly stood up. The strong boyfriend that was going to leave his side to go to the door. Seokjin was speechless.

"I'm sorry, Jinnie...", Jungkook choked, powerlessly. He had to get through this, or else he might loose what he worked for so hard. "But this is important." He sniffled quickly, wiping away the traces on his face and the rest tears in his eyes.

"You've.. got a damn lot of explaining to do, Jungkookie.", his boyfriend cried, how he lied in this bed, vulnerable and weak, not able to even sit up without any help. Jungkook almost wanted to cry again, but that wouldn't be helpful in any way. So he opened the door to his fuming mentor, staring into his eyes, his merciless anger on full display.

"Yeah, Jungkook. You've got some whole damn lot of explaining to do."
