Jimin wasn't suprised when he found Sereny rolled up on the bed, already sleeping again. The cat had a quite low energy-level, but who would've thought. "Of course you're sleeping, you fat cat.", he mumbled to himself. "I wouldn't say she's fat, she's more like really thicc.", Namjoon commented from behind, making Jimin jump a little. They went out Jin's room just seconds ago, yet he kinda forgot why. So he now was a little bit nervous, given the fact he'll probably be alone with him in a room again.
"Yeah, she's just really fluffy..", he said, gently petting Sereny's head, without waking her up. Namjoon pulled a chair to his side, trying not to make too much noise. "You should lay down. You're not completely whole again. It was really irresponsible of you to leave your room like that.", he spoke softly, yet scolded the shorter man. "Well,", Jimin sassily replied, sudden confidence found, "if you hadn't stormed out the room in this unmannered.. uh.. manner, I wouldn't have left either." Jimin gently shoved Sereny aside to slip under the blanket again. Sereny woke up with a loud and complaining 'meow', jumping off the bed and stomping to the windowsill, highly insulted. Great, Namjoon thought, his efforts on keeping quiet were pointless then.
He sighed. "What my manner is, isn't of your concern. So don't put your health at risk. Chris also said you should return to bed, did you forget?" Jimin did indeed forget, Chris only put it as a little side-note after Jimin asked for meeting Jin, after all. His lips formed a small line, he looked at the blanket. "No.. but..", he started, obviously lying. Well, he didn't exactly forget, just.. ignored it a bit. "But?", Namjoon interrogated, sitting himself down, too. "But I was worried for Jinni- Seokjin when you ran out. And then I saw Jungkook in that room and then I was worried for both and then you were so angry and I assumed the worst and I.. I....", Jimin stuttered. This time, this was not even a lie. "Look,", Namjoon started, "I know tha-"
He couldn't come any further. They heard a loud knocking on the door, interrupting Namjoon. "My god, what is it this time?", Namjoon complained, stomping to the door, highly insulted. Jimin wanted to chuckle, but could only almost pout. Even if he's going to end up hostage in this man's claws, he at least wanted to know him. Namjoon pulled the door open. "What?", he snapped, not expecting the black-haired man infront of him.
"Good morning, Mr. Kim. It is 'that' that we agreed on discussing details today, yet you didn't answer any of my calls again.", the man snapped back, giving Namjoon a death stare. Great, Jimin thought, yet another dude. "Well, Chief Jung.", Namjoon sighed, "We didn't declare at which time we will discuss the details, and since it's barely afternoon, we still have plenty of time, don't we?" Jimin didn't see the man's face, yet his voice was familiar. He couldn't make it out, but as soon as he saw the gun on the man's waist, he didn't want to know. "Yeah, we don't. You have, I'm here to fix some problems that you always cause me."
"So you're not only here for discussing details?"
"I'm here for discussing details. Just not only with you."
"I suppose Dr. Bang has already talked to you."
"Indeed. He's a good doctor, and a polite young man plus that. I'll never put my mind to how much decent people of quality actually work for you."
"Yeah, thank you. I'm not a heathen, you know? And besides, we're not that much older than him, Hoseok."
So Jung Hoseok was his name. Jimin heard that name before, but couldn't quiet sort a face to it. "I'm at work, please don't call me by my first name.", he sighed. Namjoon grinned. "Well, of course, Chief Jung, all that you want."
"Shut up now. Dr. Bang told me Mr. Kim Seokjin isn't ready for questions, especially now that there's been a little.. turmoil, so he needs to rest.", the man said, shoving himself past Namjoon and entering the room. Namjoon let him, defeated.
"Greetings.", the man smiled to Jimin. It was a bright smile, almost heart-shaped. Jimin liked that. "My name is Jung Hoseok, I'm officer of the local police. And i'm here to ask you a few questions about your accident yesterday."
"Wait weren't you-", Namjoon noted, getting interrupted by Hoseok's hand on his mouth. Wirh a grumbling noise, he put his hand down and shot him with daggers in his eyes.
Understood. Right.
"Weren't you scheduled for tomorrow?", Namjoon quickly lied. Hoseok wanted to keep his actual identity a secret, then. "Yeah. And I'm sorry if that's why Dr. Bang didn't tell you. But i figured if I wanted to sort things out with the man beside me, I could've combine my visits.", Hoseok explained to Jimin. "Right...", he nodded quietly. Well, then he'll have to wait a little more. A little more, with even more questions.
What did Namjoon have to do with the local law? And why is he not being arrested?

"So you and Mr. Kim Seokjin were driving home after this event, when he got a, you suppose, panic attack and drove the car into a lightpole."
"Yeah."
"And then, you woke up in Dr. Bang's clinic."
"Correct."
Jimin spent the last few minutes answering all the questions this 'officer' asked. It was all just boring talk, like 'what were you doing?' or 'how did it come to the accident?'. Jimin hated that he couldn't concentrate, since this was a serious situation. His mind was more on the third man in the room. Endless questions he wanted to know himself were flooding his mind, displacing the officer. Does Officer Jung know him? Is he aware that he, probably, was a criminal? And if yes, why did he do nothing about it?
"Mr. Park?"
Jimin sat up straight immediately. He had to get rid of this habit of spacing out. "Yes.", he replied, forcing his attention on the officer. "How is Mr. Kim Namjoon involved?"
Jimin eyed Namjoon. The brunette was looking at Mr. Jung, almost glaring. "I suppose you should talk to me about that.", he murmured. "Yeah, and I will. I want to know his perspective first. And I want you to leave for that."
"Wha-"
"No, Mr. Kim. This is a serious matter and I need you to leave the room. Now."
Namjoon made a noise out of frustration, but proceeded to stand up. "Fine.", he grumbled, walking to the door, "Just don't ruin my reputation."
Hoseok waited until Namjoon left the room. Then he turned to Jimin.
"You gotta stay away from this man as much as possible, do you understand me?"
