they got to cristina and owen's new place and grace noticed jackson standing alone in the kitchen drinking. "hey" she smiled."are you okay?"

"yep" he nodded. "look go have fun with lexie and the others and i'll join you in a few minutes" he smiled giving grace a kiss.

"okay well, i'm here if you need anything or want to go home"
"i know" he smiled.

"guess what!" grace exclaimed, as she stood with lexie.

"what!?"

"the 16 year old, sophie!"

"yeah?" lexie questioned.

"a nurse is going to look after her and the baby" she exclaimed, in excitement.

"that's great news!" lexie cheered.

"i know!" grace also cheered. "come on let's dance" she laughed, as the two girls began dancing together.

suddenly there was huge crash and alex was laying in the middle of cristina and owen's brand new table, or their old table now, since the glass was shattered everywhere, and jackson was punching him.

"jackson!" grace yelled, as she ran over and mark and hunt got him off alex.

grace took him into the kitchen to sort out his hand, she began cleaning it up. "jackson what the hell were you thinking!?" she yelled, in disappointment, however he didn't say anything.

"do you think it was hard for yang.. to quit.. to just walk away?" he questioned, as he failed to look grace in the eye.

"oh jackson, don't be stupid you're not quitting" grace told him. "but you could've just gotten yourself fired" she sighed. "or arrested. but probably both" she angrily said.

"yeah well, you and april are they only friends i have left" he sighed. "plus you're my girlfriend so i'm not sure that even counts" he added bluntly.

"jackson..." grace sighed, as she took a deep breath. "look please just don't get in anymore fights"

jackson just kept a straight face and did a light nod. it was obvious that he was also disappointed in himself. grace understood he wasn't coping well, after the deaths of his friends.

"i love you and i can't have you doing this to yourself" grace told him, as she wrapped her arms around him.

"i know i'm sorry-"

"nope, no apologising" grace cut him off.

"you're perfect, grace donahue" he smiled, as she leant in and pressed a quick kiss on her lips.

"i know" she blushed, jokingly flipping her hair causing jackson to laugh.

the night basically ended after the fight. "come on, luke came to pick us up" grace told jackson, as she hurried him. "he's outside"

the two walked down the stairs of the apartment. grace was thankful that it was ending. it all became a bit much after the fight.

"hey" luke smiled, as they opened the car door.

"hey" jackson replied.

"guess what jackson did" grace sighed, but before luke even had time to answer, grace answered for him. "he punched alex"

"i thought we were over that" jackson laughed.
