"𝐣𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞" - 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟒𝟖

grace and jackson went to the party at meredith's house. they were celebrating that they had passed their boards.

"we passed our boards" meredith exclaimed to grace and cristina as they danced on the table.
"we killed the boards!" cristina also yelled.
"hell yeah!" grace cheered.

they danced and cheered on the table, until cristina's phone began ringing, that's when they had to turn it off.

"mayo wants to give me a research lab" cristina yelled, as she got off the phone. "guess who's back in the running!" she exclaimed, earning cheers from everyone.

"so that's what rock bottom looks like" alex stated as him and jackson watched everyone.
"you guys are no fun" grace chuckled.

april's phone then began ringing, so the music was turned off again, as she took the call. "UVA wants a board-certified surgeon, so they pulled my offer" she told them all, they all stood there and felt sorry for her.

"come on. music. come on!" she exclaimed, as she ran back onto the table, but no one did anything. "music!" she screamed. "come on!"

"okay, well you two can stand there being all boring, but i'm gonna go and have fun" grace said to jackson and alex as she ran off to enjoy the party.

"hey guys" grace smiled, as she walked over to meredith and cristina. "hold on you haven't told teddy-"

"hopkins!" alex exclaimed as he ran over.
"uh, hopkins is not in the running" cristina stated.
"not for you" alex chuckled. "for me. hopkins. hopkins wants me"

"john hopkins, the hospital?" cristina asked him.
"alex, how?" meredith asked him as well.
"no hopkins refrigeration school?" cristina asked again.

"i kinda bitched out their chief of surgery at my boards" he explained. "and i-i-i guess he was impressed"

"so they know you're jerk?" cristina asked, she was probably a little jealous that hopkins wanted alex, and not her.

"they totally know, and they want to me" he chuckled.

"oh shut up" grace exclaimed, as she ran to hug him. "i'm so happy for you"

"hopkins wants me" he happily said.
"i'm not surprised at all" meredith smiled.
"me neither" grace agreed.
"i am 100% surprised" cristina stated.

alex was about to walk off, before cristina stopped him. "nice work, evil spawn" she smiled as she hugged him.

they sat around the table in the cafeteria eating their lunch, talking about what everyone had planned for the future. "hey, i heat stanford has a farm to table chef" meredith told cristina. "you can text your order right from the OR"

"well, i'll factor that in. i still haven't made my decision" cristina stated.
"well, it's gotta be stanford. where else would you go?" meredith asked her.

"she has a point" grace nodded, as she twisted her spaghetti with a fork.

"i might stay" cristina stated. "everything's on the table"

"she like-a the spaghetti too" alex said. as they all shook their heads and laughed.

april's phone began ringing, they all looked at her and she read out who it was. "2-1-2. it's new york" she stated.
"mount sinai" grace smiled.
"answer it" cristina said.
