"𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰" - 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟔𝟕

grace woke up and looked next to her and saw her husband to be laying peacefully next to her. they were getting married in just 3 days. it was finally happening.

grace gently leant over and placed a small kiss on his lips, before quietly getting out of bed and getting ready for work.

when grace got to work she met with april. "so are you excited?" april exclaimed, with a bright smile.

"yes!" grace smiled back with the same energy. "i just hope that everything goes to plan" she sighed, as you read through her planner.

"calm down, it will" alex reassured her. "i promise" he smiled.

"okay" grace nodded. "do you guys know where you have to be?" she asked. "so alex you're walking me down with luke" she said looking at alex. "and april, you meredith and cristina will be my bridesmaids" she said.

jess was also another one of her bridesmaids, and olivia was going to be a flower girl. although, luke was walking grace down the aisle, he was also jackson's best man.

grace walked into the intern locker room, to find jo. "hi" she smiled awkwardly as all the interns stared at her. "i just wanted to check if you were coming as alex's date?" grace asked her, as she became nervous and tense.

"oh, uh" she mumbled. "i am going with alex, yes" she nodded, as she cleared her throat.

"so you're alex's date?" grace repeated, not sensing that it hadn't been discussed.

"i-" she awkwardly said again, before getting paged. "i'm being paged" she said before rushing off, leaving grace stood with dr brooks and dr ross.

grace sat down with her food next to alex. "hey, wilson was acting really weird, when i asked her if she was your date" she said, as she put a mouthful of pasta in her mouth.

"she's not my date" alex scoffed.

"what is it with you two" grace sighed. "you both like each other" she chuckled.

"no we don't" alex scoffed again, as grace raised her eyebrows. "i'm serious we don't" he said again.

"okay, okay" grace said raising her hands. "all i'm gonna say is that i won't be surprised if something does happen" she stated, as she got up and got ready to leave.

two days until the wedding...

it was now only two days till the wedding. grace and jackson were both so excited.

today was the traditional donahue wedding brunch. so her mom, jackson's mom, luke, jess, olivia and dominic were all going to be there.

later on that night was also grace and jackson's bachelor and bachelorette party, which they were both excited for.

"i don't get why that dominic has to come" grace groaned, as she tightened her robe.

"he is your mom's boyfriend" jackson chuckled.

"sure" grace sighed, as she went over to the wardrobe.
