He was in the bathroom cleaning up when he felt it. The pull. It had gotten stronger when he had gotten into the territory, and even more so when he met the Alpha. But it was getting stronger. He wasn't sure how much longer he could control his urge to follow it. He knew it would likely be met with his demise, but there was something so tempting about solving his mystery finally.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. This was going to be a test of his control. He wouldn't be able to find out why the Moon Goddess brought him there if he acted on impulse.

He wished he knew what it meant, though.

He washed himself quickly and got out of the shower. It was nice that they gave them the luxury of something like this. He could even change the temperature if he wanted. Although the rest of them seemed to like hot showers, he preferred cold. It was hot enough outside already, and these showers were the best way to cool off.

He dried himself off quickly, and got into some clothes that were given to him. As much as he hated wearing shirts, he felt like he needed to when the pack Gamma, Ed, came over to bring them their meals. He felt it was disrespectful not to. As it may show that he had gotten a little too comfortable in this lovely cabin.

He loved wearing colors. That added to some fun of wearing these clothes. This time, he wore jean shorts with a light pink shirt. The color of the shirt reminded him of fish. He loved fish. They were as much fun to watch as they were to catch and eat. He had spent many hours watching fish before he would head off to the next area.

The one thing he had still not gotten used to was shoes. He had always hated wearing them as a child, even when his toes would feel like they were going to fall off. They crunched his feet and wrapped around them so tight. And now that it was so hot, he didn't want to wear any more clothing than he had to. Shoes made him warmer, not cooler.

His stomach growled for food. It seemed to already be getting used to the three meals that they were given. What he would do many times in his travels is eat once a day, so he could have more time to run. Sometimes it would be bad, and he would have to go without eating for a couple days. He was grateful that this pack had given him so much, even if they didn't know him that well.

He walked out of the bathroom door and was hit with another wave of the strong pull. He thought that the smell that had come across his nose had been the food that Ed had brought. Instead, it was a lean man that was looking at him in awe.

He couldn't stop looking at those hazel eyes. He was frozen in place by the scent that the man was giving off. It was a sharp smell, like a foreign spice that he had not heard of. He longed to go to this man and feel his long dark hair. It was long and pulled back into a ponytail. He wanted to see what the man looked like with it resting on his shoulders. He wanted to know how it felt.

He wanted to know how those lips felt. They were parted slightly. It made him want to touch them. Everything about this man made him want to touch him.

He averted his gaze only after hearing the Gamma clear his throat. He looked protective of the other man. It made him more curious of this man, but he would not try and pry. That wasn't a good idea. Instead, he dropped his gaze and put his head down.

"Nick, this is Alistair," he heard Ed say. He didn't want to look back up at the man, for fear he would get lost in those hazel eyes again. "Alistair, this is Nick, one of the chefs of the pack."

"It's nice to meet you," Nick said.

"You as well," he nodded. He should go to another room. If Ed was protective of this man, then he must be wary. Protective werewolves are not ones to mess with.
