MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! (Even though where I am its Christmas Eve ^-^)

“All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king.”

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

Torrin’s P.O.V

On the thin string of life I held on for a while longer to see if someone would find me. Though it was hard to stay alive I kept cautious of my surroundings. The blackness was overwhelming and the darkness looked so peaceful. It was easy to hand you’re life over, but I want curious as to what would happen next.

Would anyone find me?

Who would it be?

Would they cry?

H*ll…would they care?

The pain was slipping away and I knew that death was coming. It was hard to fight back, but I tried my hardest to think of happier times. But came up short when all of them were with either Ellie (and that’s hard enough as is to remember your dead best friend) or Crispin and my heart couldn’t take either one of them. It’s sad really…

As I was about to give up the fight I faintly heard my name being called. So I would be found…

My name was called several times again and there was a crashing sound.  My name was called out again and I recognized it was Sky. I would have smiled but my body didn’t react. I felt like a ghost with my thoughts wide awake but when I would give orders to move my body…it was declined. I heard a scream and sobbing began. I felt bad that she had to see me like this, h*ll I didn’t know what came over me to think of doing that.

I was just…depressed.

Then I heard an all too familiar voice. His voice was broken but it was music to my ears. My heart beated a little faster but died down to a slower pace soon after. My body ached for his touch and I soon received what I wanted most in the world. I was laid on his lap and wrapped up in his muscular arms. Again I would have smiled but my body didn’t respond. I should have been mad at him for lying to me and putting me in the depressed state but I could have cared less.

The electricity was flowing through my body and truthfully I believed it was him that was keeping me alive. If all that mate and werewolf stuff was really true then yes I think this was why I lived. It was him. I soon was washed over into a deep, relaxing sleep.

But I knew that it wasn’t the end.

“Good-bye” He whispered as he kissed my forehead. I didn’t know where he was going but when I told my hand to reach out for him, it didn’t. I was forced with the fact that I couldn’t tell him not to leave. I heard a window open and then a thump come from the outside. Why the h*ll did he go out the window?

About 10 minutes later the door opened and my heart jumped with the possibility of it being Crispin. This whole time he has been blaming himself for what had happened and Sky was right…it wasn’t his fault.

It was mine.

I did all that stuff do myself and he shouldn’t blame it all on him.

I was then turned down when Sky’s laughter erupted in my ears and Tate and Jeb’s arguing was clear as day.
