Chapter 38

I groaned as I flipped over to find my head rested on top of a hard rock. Hard but smooth at the same time. My face felt the tingles from his bare chest to my flushed cheeks as I inhaled his musky scent while rubbing my face deeper into his muscles like a cat. His chest rumbled, the vibration tumbling through me to send a chill down my arms. I smiled as Crispin wrapped his arms around me to let me lay on top of him. I rest my chin on his heated skin so I could get lost in his beautiful eyes. His grinned down at me lovingly, his hair sexy as ever as it stuck out in multiple directions.

“Good morning Baby Girl” He soothed as he swept his head down for a gentle kiss. His tender lips pressed softly against mine as I moaned in the back of my throat.

God did I love this guy in front of me.

He kissed me deeper while seizing my hips to push me to him further. He growled lowly as I nipped playfully at his bottom lip before I began to suck. He moaned loudly before traveling a mischievous hand to tangle into my hair and slightly tug. I gasped in pleasure but then something happened… Crispin stopped kissing me abruptly to let his hand fly to his mouth. A pained expression etched its way onto his godly features before he took in a large shaky breath.

“Crispin…” I whispered in a worried tone as I grasped his shoulders to make him focus on me. He let his eyes downcast, not wanting to look me in the eye. He clenched his jaw desperately, his hands balling into fists as he let go of my hips to clench them together at his sides. Hurt and frustration boiled inside of me before I tilted his chin up as I sat up to straddle him, not letting him push me off.

Something was wrong.

Is he still having effects from yesterday’s hang over? Did I do something to make him mad? Did I have morning breath?

“Crispin look at me” I whispered making sure to keep a respectable distance away just in case it was indeed my smelly breath. My wolf whimpered while Crispin stared down at his chest not even twitching to glance up at me. Did I repulse him? “Please” I whimpered in a painful tone. My eyes widened as Crispin looked up at me with glowing blood red eyes. They read of hunger, desire and…thirst. Knowing what I had to do I let my large t-shirt drape over, exposing my shoulder as I felt his muscles tighten under me. “I don’t want to hurt you” He seethed trying his best to fight the agony in his mouth.

“Do it, it won’t hurt…” I reasoned as I let my finger drag along my shoulder bone before nicking a part of my skin with my nail to let a small drop of blood run unbearably slow down my tanned skin. Crispin let out a choked breath before he opened his mouth while I watched his pearl white fangs elongate. The thought of them piercing through my skin both scared and intrigued me.

He let out a possessive growl, his eyes flashing, before seizing my body to force me onto my back as his body covered my own. His heat wrapping around me and the voltz pulsating through my soul. His aroma filling my lungs. Taking in a deep breath, he finally clamped his teeth on the bit of skin on my lower neck. I let out the breath I had been holding to moan. I scrapped my nails along his spine as I smiled when he shivered underneath my touch. He wasn’t the only one that could play dirty.

He bit harder, while sucking like there was no tomorrow. I screamed in pleasure as he took in a large gulp, feeling my blood pour out of me and between those plump lips. He slowly let go of my skin as I watched his fangs retract, my blood staining his now red lips. I looked deep into his eyes, the glowing red was dimmed until it hid away behind his irises. Unconsciously my hand reached up to my neck to find smooth skin. Everything seemed normal except for my rapid heart, banging against my chest.
