“'Friends.' A simple word isn't it? It's uttered every day to almost every person imaginable. Who are your friends? I used to think that friends were the people that you could laugh and talk to. Now I know that friends aren't that, they're the people that touch your heart. You could spend hours with them doing nothing at all and it can be the best time of your life, just because it was with them. They're the people you can share your secrets with, cry with, laugh with, and just have fun with. They don't judge you or make you change. They accept you exactly as you are. They look at you and see a great person, one they love spending time with. You all share something in common and are tied together with memories, tears, laughs, and smiles. You're tied together by love for each other. Friendship is one of the greatest things in the world. I find my time with my friends, the best times of my life. My friends are my heart, my soul, my fun, my laughter, tears, love and my life”
Torrin’s P.O.V
It was official.
I hate alarms.
Its obnoxious ringing invaded my dreams as I searched for the snooze button. After hitting ‘disarm’ I grumbled to myself letting last night’s events occupy my mind.
The Club. The inner Luna calling. Rob. His Death. My shower.
Then…nothing.
My head pounded as I sat up dangling my feet off the lumpy mattress. I felt the bile rise up my throat as I quickly ran to the toilet spilling out the night’s alcohol. The sensation caught flame to my throat and I gagged until I rested my hot head against the cool toilet rim. I took in a deep sigh and splashed water on my face once I reached the sink.
Instantly my eyes forced open to see my injuries nowhere to be found, but dark bags still lingered under my eyes. The nauseous feeling still dawdled in my stomach but it wasn’t like it was something I wasn’t used too. I used to drink fairly often thanks to the strip club. I heard my phone vibrate from the bed side table as I finished brushing my teeth and hair. It was a text from Crispin.
‘It must be a shame to not wake up to my glorious face but I’ll be there to pick you up this morning for school. I had Alpha duties late last night and fell asleep on the couch. I’ll see you soon my Luna.
Love Crispin xxx’
I chuckled as I shook my head. “Glorious face my a**” I lied through my teeth and settled the phone back down not bothering to reply. Sh*t. I forgot about school. I jogged over my now fully stocked closet (thanks to Sky) and grabbed the first outfit that my eyes laid on first.

My hair didn’t seem to be cooperating with me, possibly from all the hair spray, so I decided to straighten it. I had to admit it looked different but it was a good different. I tossed my phone into my backpack as I adjusted my hat and made my way out the door. Taking two steps at a time I let my mind linger off from the nauseous feeling by thinking of Crispin. The thought of his name subsided the uneasy feeling with excitement and a small smile etched its way to my face.
“You look rather pretty today” Mrs. Wells exclaimed while admiring my shoes.
“Good Morning Mrs. Wells and thanks. Sky did all the shopping for me so you should give her all the credit.” I laughed. She smiled while nodding her head.
“Yes she did say she had a thing for fashion. Have a good day at school Luna I’ll see you later on”
The mentioning of everyone calling me Luna felt odd but I decided it was best to brush it off with a fake smile. “
