“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”

― Martin Luther King Jr.

I woke up with a pleasurable buzz throughout my well rested body. I could feel the hard, muscular chest steadily breathing on my back and I grinned to myself once more.

My lips still tingled just like in the books, and just like all the girls I softly touched them remembering Crispin’s lips working their magic just a few hours ago

I’ve truthfully never felt as wanted as I did now and with the thought in mind a shiver of giddiness shot up my spine causing, once again, a smile to form on my lips.

A husky moan was groaned into my ear as Crispin slightly stretched his long legs. I didn’t look back at him. It felt oddly exciting just waiting for him to fully awake. It made adrenaline pump through me as I anxiously waited with tensed muscles. I finally got my reward when a large, oddly warm hand found its way down my left side, past my a**, and rubbing intricate designs on my thigh.

The gesture made my heart beat faster and a blush appeared on my cheeks. A chuckle was heard along with the shuffling of blankets. Crispin’s breath blew into my ear and past my neck making goose bumps rise on the surface of my tan skin.

“Good morning...girlfriend.”

I could just hear the smirk in his words and that was enough of suspense for me. I put on a lazy smile and flipped over onto my other side, inches away from his face. He smiled when I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out.

“Good morning” I chuckled.

“Sleep good?” He asked, while once again tracing designs on my thigh. I bit my lip fighting back a moan. I nodded slowly too afraid to open my mouth. Sadly the moment was broken when my stomach growled loudly causing me to jump slightly. Crispin chuckled at my embarrassment and pecked me on the lips.

A sudden look of seriousness crossed his face and he looked me dead in the eyes. Frighten a little by the change of mood and I cringed away.

“You didn’t eat last night did you?”

I shook my head no still keeping a close eye on him. I knew Crispin was nothing like Rob, but it was my first reaction to things like this. He must’ve seen the scared look in my eyes when his face softened and he pulled me closer to him and began to tangle his fingers in my thick hair.

“I’m sorry I scared you. I’m just worried. I just don’t want you to starve…” He mumbled from the top of my head. I blew out a sigh. He lifted my chin to look up at him.

“Forgive me?”

His sincere chocolaty depths captured my own and I felt a jolt in my lower stomach, as always.

“Yes…”

He smiled and kissed my forehead for understanding.  He then sat up with me in his lap and I noticed that his shirt was off and that he was just in his boxers. Something from my lower stomach jolted again, but I waved it off thinking it was just my stomach begging for food. D*mn thing never shuts up and just ends up either embarrassing me or ruining things.

“Come on let’s get you something to eat.” He said taking my hand and unzipping the tent. A thought then came to mind.

‘This would be the first time anyone seeing us as a couple’. I blushed.

Justin’s P.O.V

*Yesterday*

I ran.

That’s all I did until night washed over. My wolf led me to the mountains miles and miles far from town and that’s when I caught the scent. My wolf as on hyper alert. My canine ears perked up and my highly sensitive nose sniffed the air. The velvety scent gave me an overdose. Naturally my wolf crouched into a protective stance. I was taught to know, and resent that smell.
