He's cute

Louis POV
When I got home  my mom was in the kitchen cooking breakfast.  "I thought you worked today" I ask her. "I was able to get a later shift, I figured I don't see you much so I should have breakfast with you" she says and gives me a smile. "That's awesome. Thanks mom" I say and give her an honest smile. "I made chocolate chip pancakes and sausage. Your favorite" my mom says as she puts the food on our plates. "Yum. Thank you" I say as she places the plate on the table in front of me. She sits down and we dig in. "So how was Harry's yesterday?" She ask after about five minutes of silence. "It was good, we played Mario kart and I kicked Harry's ass and-" I started but as cut off. "Louis William Tomlinson language" she says. "Really mum the girls aren't here and we all know I cuss" I reply sassily. "Really Louis can you not just say okay?" She says and I can tell she's frustrated. "You know what mum you're right, I'm sorry I'll watch what I say." I say and give her a smile. "Thank you now go ahead and continue your story" she says and gives me a warm smile. I tell her about my time at Harry's house leaving out some details like him covering my eyes, the cuddles on the couch, the sadness I felt when I woke up and I wasn't in his arms still, the almost fall when I first got there, and how adorable he looked struggling to play Mario Kart. "It sounds like you had a good time, I'm happy you and Harry worked everything out" she says and I know she means it. "Thanks mum me too" I say and take our plates to the kitchen. "I'm sorry sweetie but I have to go to work now. Do you mind picking the girls up from their friends later?" She says. "Okay mom have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow. Oh yeah I can pick the girls up" I reply. She gives me a kiss on the cheek, we exchanged I love you's, and she leaves.

I spend the next couple hours doing the dishes, sweeping, watching The Vampire Diaries, wiping the table and counters down, and listening to music. One. It hits 5:00 pm I leave the house to go pick up the girls. It's only about a fifteen minute drive. I pull into their friends driveway and walk to the door. I knock three times before the door is swung open by my sisters and I'm being tackled into hugs. "Hi girls" I say with a chuckle and pull them all in for a tighter hug. Once I get the girls situated we leave their friends. "Are you girls hungry?" I ask and check my mirror to see their faces. "Yess" they all say in sync. I drove through McDonald's and we all get the chicken nugget kids meals. Once we get home we watch Disney movies and at some point we all fall asleep.

  I'm awoken by my phone going off. I pull it out of my pocket and see it my alarm. Yay school! I take a quick shower then get ready for the day.

I drive the girls to school and give each of them a hug and a kiss on the forehead. Once I see that they are in the school safe I make my way to my school. I walk into school and grab an apple. After I eat my apple I grab my stuff out of my locker and make my way to my first class. I take the seat next to Harry. "Heyy" he says and smiles. "Hey Harry, I have your clothes" I say and smile back. I turn to my left to grab the clothes out of my bag and see a beautiful guy walk in. We make eye contact and I swear I could've died on the spot. He takes the seat next to me and I internally scream. "Hey I'm Shawn, Shawn Mendez" he says and smiled while putting his hand out for me to shake. "I'm uh Louis, Louis T-Tomlinson but most people call me Lou" I say and try not to stutter. "It's nice to meet you Lou. I just moved here with my two brothers Liam and Niall" he says and the way my name rolled off his younger gave me butterflies. "O-oh cool. I'm sure you'll love it here" after I say that we just look into at each other but not in a weird way, a cute way. After a couple seconds or maybe even a minute someone clears their throat. I smile at Shawn then turn towards where I heard the noise. "Uhm are you going to make googly eyes at new boy all day or are you going to give me my clothes" Harry says and I sense a hint of jealousy. Why would he be jealous though? I shake it off and hand Harry his clothes. Halfway through the lesson a note gets slid on my desk.

Oh good to know-Shawn

Do you want to eat lunch with us?-Lou

Yeah as long as I can bring my brothers-Shawn

We pass a couple notes to each other for the rest of the period and I find out that Shawn has two adopted brothers that are our age (Niall and Liam), they all sing, and they moved here from LA. The rest of the periods before lunch aren't as boring as usual. After our third period Shawn, Harry, and I make our way to the cafeteria. We sit in our usual seats and are soon greeted by Zayn, Gigi, and who I'm guessing are Niall and Liam. "Oh Lou this is my brother Niall" Shawn says and points to a blonde guy with blue eyes and an contagious smile. "And this is my other brother Liam" Shawn says pointing to a tall guy with sort of curly brown hair and nice eyebrows. "Nice to meet you guys I'm Louis but most people call me Lou" I say and give them a smile. "It's nice to meat you Lou" they say and sit down. Niall, Liam, Shawn, and I join in a conversation and get to know each other better. They are all good lads and I can see us getting closer.

The rest of the day goes by pretty smooth and I almost forget to sign up for footie tryouts. Before I leave I head over to the sing up sheet and I'm soon greeted by Shawn. "Oh hi Shawn" I say and smile. "Hey Lou. My brothers and I wanted to know if you wanted to come over and hangout sometime" he says and scratches his head nervously. "Oh yeah. When do you guys want to hangout" I say excitedly. "Oh uh tomorrow?" He ask. "Yeah. I'll drive to you house after school" I say and give him a smile. I'm about to walk away when he calls my name. "Oh can I get your number? You know to send to the address" he says shyly. "Oh yeah duh" I say and quickly write my number down then hand it to him. "I'll see you tomorrow Lou" Shawn says and we go our separate ways.

School was actually pretty good today, I can't believe I almost didn't want to show up. I pick up the girls from school then head home. I make man n cheese for dinner then we watch movies.
