Breath of fresh air

Aang POV

I woke up with someone's arms wrapped around me. I slowly realized that it was Katara that was holding me and I couldn't be more happy.

I tried to get up from the bed, but suddenly Katara grabbed me and pulled me back into her embrace. I smiled as I turned around to face her.

"Good morning" I say

Her eyes open as she gives me a small peck on the lips. "Good morning" she says.

"Do you maybe want to go to a movie today?" I ask.

"Yea, that would be great." She says.

We both lay in bed for a couple more minutes before we decide to get ready for the day.

After we got dressed, we decided to head out for that movie.

I bought the tickets and we headed for our seats. Katara insisted on buying the snacks, so she got them. Once we got into our seats, we relaxed and started watching. Throughout the movie, my hand was on the arm rest between us. I kept seeing out of the corner of my eye, that she was hesitant to grab my hand. So I decided to be bold and lift the armrest up and wrapped my arm around her body. She tensed up at first, but immediately relaxed into my embrace. Soon after, she nuzzled her head into my chest, and I couldn't help but smile.

We decided to head back to her house so I could drop her off. The car ride was filled with many laughs and smiles. As we got to the door, she grabbed my hand and said "thank you for today."

I replied with "you're welcome. I had a lot of fun too."

I leaned in to kiss her but before I could, someone opened the front door.

"What the fu-"
