The baseball game

Aang POV

It was now Friday and that meant the baseball game was today. I texted Katara that I was on my way to pick her up. She replied and I arrived at her house.

I walked up to the front door and knocked.

She opened the door to answer.

"Hey Aang" she said

"Hey Katara. You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yup, lemme just tell Sokka I'm leaving." She replied.

She went back inside to talk to Sokka and then we both went to my car.

Once we sat inside the car, there was somewhat of an awkward silence. Until she spoke.

"Aang... I don't really know how baseball works..." she said timidly.

"That's ok. If you have any questions, I'll answer them." I responded.

We got to the stadium in about an hour because of traffic. Katara and I got to the gate and the security guard scanned our tickets. We had pretty good seats. We could see most of the action that was happening.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked

"What do they have?" She responded.

"Well... they have hotdogs, nachos, pretzels, and pizza." I responded.

"Ooo a pretzel sounds good." She said

I nodded and went to the concession stand.

I ordered a hot dog for myself and a pretzel for Katara and a soda for each of us.

I came back to our seats and handed Katara her food.

I saw her open her purse to grab her wallet.

"What're you doing?" I asked

"I'm gonna pay you back for buying my food" she answered.

"Oh no it's ok. I invited you to come and it's the least I could do for you coming to the game with me" I said.

She smiled and put her wallet away.

A couple innings went by and Katara was asking a bunch of questions during the game. She seemed very intrigued by it, which made me happy.

While we were talking, we didn't notice that almost everyone in our section was looking at us. We were really confused, until we looking at the big screen....

We were on kiss cam.
