Chapter 10

I'm taking my bath and prepare all my stuffs. I sighed. The times flews very fast and it's foundation day today. The first day and I will be very busy.

Lumabas ako ng dorm dala dala lahat ng kailangan. Our booth is located in the front garden. Where all the students can see our booth. Thanks to Thunder nauna kami sa spot nayun.

"Mayor may kukunin lang po kami sa faculty." I nod to Meisha.

I prepared all the costumes with the help of my co officer. Thunder fix his camera and the other fix the background theme.

We prepared it very much para makaingganyo ng mga estyudante. There's also for couples themed.

"Thunder can you please bring this stuff in there?" Tumango ito at ginawa ang utos ko.

Nakita ko sa gilid ng mata ko ang nakatingin si Hanna. Tumingin ako sa gawi niya at ngumiti ito kaya umiwas ako mg tingin. The way she looks at me like she wants me to be dead.

Their booth is selling cute keychain. Malapit lang din ang booth nila sa amin. I sighed ng bigla akong binangga ni Stiffany. She has this smirk in her face while looking at me.

"Mayor pinapatawag po lahat ng Mayor's sa principal office." Tumango ako. Nakita ko si Hanna na papaalis rin. I sighed, this foundation is really sucks. Kung hindi ko lang kailangan maging mayor hindi talaga ako magmamayor. I wonder if I'm not a schoolar. Ano kayang buhay ko? What it feels when your not working for your own tuition fees. Studying hard for your grades. Keep in deans lister at hinahayaan ang numbubully saiyo kasi wala kang magawa? Maybe I'm one of those unlucky girls out there.

Nandito na ako sa loob ng office at marami rin kaming mga Mayor's dito. We all stood straight while she is looking at us intintly.

"Kaya ko kayo pinatawag dito to remind all of you to take a good work with your booths Mayor's..." I nodded when she stopped talking and cough a little as she proceed talking "...We have a visitors at maraming pupunta dito para sa foundation day natin. Please inform your group cleaners to keep the school clean. And that's all, pumunta na kayo sa court for flag ceremony. Good luck Mayor's " I smirk before leaving the office. Dumiritso na kami ng court at marami ang estyudante ang naroroon.

I chat my group mates where their is and I found them infront. Ngumiti ako kay Thunder ng may binigay siya sa akin na camera. He was also have a camera in his other hand.

"Mayor naisip ko na kumuha na din tayo ng pictures for all of them. I mean stolen shot and we will developed it. Ilagay natin sa unahan ng booth ang lahat ng pictures. Maybe some students will buy their stolen pictures at nakakadagdag ng income natin. What do you think?" Ngumiti ako sa sinabi niya. His idea is great! I smiled and nodded. 

"That's a great idea!" He smirk and raised his left eyebrow.

"You are the only one I give that camera kasi ikaw lang ang maganda kumuha ng litrato sa kanila. " I chuckled because of what he says. Ngumiti din ito sa akin.

"Don't tell it to them." He said and I chuckled.

"Okay, Wala naman akong balak na sabihin sakanila so don't worry haha."

Ngumiti ako ng matamis bago tumayo ng tuwid ng marinig namin ang tunog ng drum. My eyes bore to the flag who raised by one of the student on the first year highschool. We sing the national anthem at nag umpisa na ang maikling palabas para sa beginning ng foundation day namin.

Students who's not part of the officers wear their styles while us officers wear our printed tshirts na para talaga sa amin. May nakita akong babae na naka ripped jeans with sleeveless on top, nakasuot siya ng boots. She's not a student here. I took a picture of her while she enjoyingly smiling by watching infront.

Natapos na ang maikling palabas at marami ng lumabas sa court. Me and Thunder dicided na maghiwalay para kumuha ng stolen pictures. I know what we are doing is illegal kasi wala itong permiso sa taong kinukuhaan namin ng picture but it's not that bad. I mean maganda naman ang magiging stolen picture mo kung ako ang magpipicture. I don't know to Thunder if he is too.

I found myself at the back of our building. Then I saw some students eating cotton candy. May cotton candy booth pala dito. Mangilan ngilan lang ang nandito kasi mga puno lang naman ang nakapaligid dito.

Napatingin ako sa nagsisigawang magbarkada. They are happily teasing each other. Nakaupo silang lahat sa calesa chair at ang iba naman nakatayo. I took a picture of them at tumingin ulit sa iba.

Nakarating na ako ngayon sa kabilang building where there has a fountain also. Dito talaga ang medyo maraming tao. Umupo ako sa isa sa mga bench hawak hawak ang camera. Ang mahinang hampas ng hangin ay nagpapagaan ng pakiramdam ko. Making me feel comfortable, I closed my eyes and feel more the cold wind.

Tumingin tingin ako sa paligid at nakita ko ang mga ibang estyudante sa kabilang section. She looked at me too so I smiled genuinely but she remain her cold look and didn't smile back. She's Xyra, nakilala ko siya kasi pareho rin kaming scholar dito sa school. We are partly the same actually. Pareho kaming wala ng mga magulang and also a working student.

In the two of us siya ang pinakabinubully sa amin. Kahit tahimik siyang nakaupo sa malapit na bench may nakita akong grupo na mga babae sa likod niya at tinatawan siya. I feel bad to her. She is also wearing a thick eyeglasses just like me.

She is also reading a comic book based sa nakita ko. I took a picture of her at dicided to leave.

Nakabalik na ako ng booth namin at may costumer na pala kami. Nakita ko si Thunder na kumukuha mg pictures. I smiled and raised my camera to take a stole picture of him.

Ngumiti ako ng makita ko ang makuha kong mga pictures until I stopped on one picture. Napakunot ang noo ko sa nakita.

"Mayor!" Napatingin ako sa sumigaw. It was Thunder who smiling form ear to ear and waving to me to come with him. I ran towards him and hand him the camera.

"Developed it already at ako nalang maglalagay niyan sa white board. Also pagkatapos pwede bang humiran ulit niyan?" Ngumiti ulit ito at tumango.

My smile faded when I heard girls giggling and saying his name. In those weeks of avoiding him there's this feeling I can't describe. Everytime I hear a girl giggle it makes my heart pound so fast.

I maintain to smile but it's hard to do it. Naglakad papunta sa loob ng booth namin pagkatapos kong nagpicture sa dalawang magkaibigan kanina.

Nadatnan ko si Thunder na may kausap na babae sa loob. They were talking seriously. I smiled and find myself going back to where my spot earlier.

Inayos ko ang mga pinaggamitan na bunny hairbands. Nagkalat kasi dahil ginamit lang at hindi binalik ng maayos. Habang nag-aayos I heard footsteps coming from behind at may naramdaman kong may kumalabit sa akin.

I faced whoever it is and it widen my eyes. Kumalabog ang puso ko sa kaba habang nakatingin sa kaniya, sa kanila.
