kavia's pov

i stared at myself for a moment in the target bathroom mirror for a few moments before i heard the stall door open and mariana walked out. (i don't wanna describe the outfits bc i always see people hating on other stories so just choose something comfortable but cute, whatever that is to you)

"you ready?" she asked me carefully.

"mhm." i hummed grabbing my bag as we headed back out to the car.

20 minutes later we had gotten smoothies and driven around the neighborhood awhile before i slowly pulled up across the street from his house.

"this is it." i said looking at it. "okay this is so creepy let's go." i replied to myself as i started to take the car out of park.

"wait, kav. let's walk around the neighborhood or something. it's a nice day out and we've been in the car so long my legs need a break, we'll get to alana's when we get there." she said already opening the car door.

i sighed and got out. "fine, i guess, you're right. but let's walk far from here because i have no idea what went through my mind when i said we should drive by his house that's so creepy-"

"yeah it is, but we're here now and if i don't at least see somebody with more than 10k i'm not leaving." she cut me off.

"damn mar you wanna be famous that bad?"

"no. i wanna meet someone famous." she replied smirking.

we laughed and walked around the neighborhood, talking about everything. we took snaps and videos and a few pictures, not to post though. after we had been walking for awhile and our legs started to hurt, we made it back to the car. as we approached it, we saw two guys i didn't recognize getting out of a car and walking up to mattia's door.

"oh my god mari-" i said grabbing her arm and nodding my head in the direction.

"who is that?" she asked while staring at them.

"i don't know, why would i know-" she cut me off by pulling me into the car.

when we were both in i looked at her.

"start the car dumbass it's cold."

"no, it'll draw attention." i said grabbing a blanket from the back and giving it to her.

"they went inside the house, it's fine. plus it's not like we can't legally be in this neighborhood. look, kav, we should just go. you were right, this was a bad idea, let's go to your sisters house and pretend like we never lowkey stalked a famous tiktoker okay?" she said nervously.

i glanced at his house once again, before back at mariana. i huffed and put the key in the ignition. "yeah, you're right, let's go."

hey y'all ! dang i haven't updated this book since january. i'm so sorry i haven't updated, i've been super busy with school but i am trying to update more now! also sorry i lied, she didn't meet mattia in this chapter 😭 she will soon tho, and i'm sorry this chapter is really short i just wanted to end it there. i will probably update again later tonight. it's hard bc i pictured how this story would go in my mind and i wrote it a little differently but i'm trying to keep it o track with how i originally envisioned it. y'all should go check out the new book i started as well called "make it"!
