SMUT WARNING CHAPTER!!

The next day, I avoided all my friends at all costs. I tried because I didn't want them to see my bruised eye. I didn't want to explain what happened. I knew that if I told Abby or even Avery, they would hunt Marcus down, and demand an explanation. Or Abby would have asked Brandon to try reasoning with Marcus.

I was doing a good job at hiding out from them until I saw Miles talking to Avery. I was never more upset to see Miles. "What are you doing here?" I asked him.

He looked at me and opened his mouth, but before we could start arguing, Avery said: "Why the hell would Marcus do that?" He asked touching my face.

"What classes does he take?" Miles asked me, I didn't answer so he turned to Avery.

"I don't know, man," Avery said turning to face Miles. "Em's the only one who would know,"

"Don't beat him up, Mil—Gabriel," I said. "Please, it really doesn't matter, I'm fine."

"Quit being dumb, Em," Avery said. "Let Gabriel beat up that bastard. He deserves it."

"Gabriel!" Abby said coming out of nowhere. "What are you doing here?" Miles didn't respond, when Abby turned to me, and her face broke. "Who the hell did that? That's why you're here?" Hastily Abby connected the dots and turned to Miles.

"Where's Marcus?" Miles asked Abby.

"Marcus did that?!" Abby shrieked.

"It doesn't matter," I said. There was no point in saying anything, they're still going to beat him up. "I'm fine,"

"I saw him talking to Brandon a few minutes ago. He seemed really weird today," Abby sighed. "No wonder," she looked at me once more. "That counterfeit is going to pay, come, Gabriel," she said holding onto my jaw. I was going to correct her by saying that 'counterfeit' was not the right word, but all three of them started bulldozing through the hallways.

They walked down the hall. And I saw Brandon. Shit, I thought. Nothing good is going to come out of this. "Marcus apologizes," Brandon said looking at me. "He feels really bad."

"Where is he?" Abby asked.

"Can't say, Abby," he said. Thank God, I thought.

"Are you serious?" Abby asked cuddling against him.

"I gotta stay loyal to him,"

"For God's sake! Somebody just tell me where he is!" Miles burst out.

"Sorry, dude," Brandon said breezily.

"Look, it really doesn't matter," I said, but still nobody listened to me. I felt like I was a child in front of all the adults.

"Have you seen your eye?" Avery stated crossing his arms.

"It's not even that bad," I said. Everybody in the group gave me the 'you're insane look', even Brandon gave me that look.

"Fine, he's at the lounge," Brandon sighed. "I can't believe I'm telling you guys this," Brandon said shaking his head.

Abby and Miles are in front of me. Charging through the hallways to find Marcus. "Guys," I said. "Let me go first," I said trying to budge in front of them.
