When you say you love me what does that mean to you?
Because honestly I haven't got the slightest clue
When you say you care for me
Are you speaking honestly?
I feel all these good feelings but then my mind change
It still feels strange
For me, love takes everything
Makes me call your phone just to hear it ring
For me, love is more than just words so I stay silent
Makes me leave my mind in the back and my heart in the front
For me, love breaks you down then builds you up
Makes your heart race with no stop
I don't want to hurt you or drive you crazy
Believe me
I don't want to destroy your life and all that you know
I say no, you say yes. I say yes, you say no
We're never on the same path
This, what we share, it's harder than math
You were not my type but I wanted something different
I wanted you to be something different
I wanted your love to make me different
To change something in me and make it magnificent
Now I feel like I'm the one who is always wrong
Then why did we wait so long?
So long to say no more or goodbye
Is your love real or is it a lie?
I let you close enough to hurt me and I know I don't communicate
You talk about love, hurt, hope. What about faith?
