your secrecy is what keeps me at bay
even when i want to give in & stay you keep pushing me further away
and your dull mind
won't open up to find
the solution of what's bothering me
because you don't care enough to change, not even slightly
stuck in your ways
no matter how far along the argument plays
no matter how much the problem repeats itself
you still won't dive into its depths
you refuse to get to the root of it all
so you stay and watch the leaves continue to fall
