Ambush the ambush

Ethan: Sir, I can engage the emergency lock before we get to the summit

Salter: We'll go exterior. Our boost rigs will give us an edge

McCallum: Ambush the ambush

Salter: And once we're clear, we can move the elevator up

Reyes: Affirmative. Salter, chief, you're with me and Player. Brooks, Ethan, 141, if we don't make it, you head up there and kick all the ass you can find. Ethan can fly that ship

Brooks: Solid copy, commander

Price: I hear you

Reyes: The plan is to rally at the top

Ethan: Lets get it done sir

Reyes: Hold the elevator here, Ethan

Ethan: Roger. Hang on

(Ethan stops the elevator)

(Reyes, Player, Salter, and McCallum step out of the elevator)

McCallum: We've got incoming

Salter: On you, Reyes

(Reyes throws an anti-gravity grenade around a corner, suspending an SDF patrol in the air)

(Player and Reyes shoot up the patrol)

Player: More hostiles, next room!

(Salter and McCallum take cover behind some crates and start fighting the SDF on the floor level)

(Player and Reyes go up the stairs onto the platform and clear it. They then give Salter and McCallum ranged support)

Salter: Targets down

Player: There's the airlock

Reyes: Keep your eyes open

(Reyes presses the airlock button as everyone puts down their helmet visors)

(As everyone is walking on a metal path, they see a bunch of SDF drop pods)

Salter: They're deploying every bot they have

Reyes: That means our forces are putting up a fight down there

Player: Of that, I have no doubt

(McCallum pulls out a charge)

McCallum: Lets see if we can help them out and disable these launchers

Reyes: Salt, you got one of those charges?

Salter: Here ya go

(Salter tosses Reyes a charge)

McCallum: Doors opening

(McCallum uses a computer to open up a pod as Reyes tries to place a charge inside)

(A robots inside the pod grabs Reyes, but McCallum pushes Reyes out of the way and gets grabbed instead)

Salter: Player, shoot it!

Player: It's moving around too much! I can't get a clear shot! Hold it still!

McCallum: Captain! The mission! Let me go before it blows!

(The pod gets launched, but it explodes, disabling the pod launcher. The explosion kills McCallum)

Salter: Dammit, Mac! Why did she do that?!
