DRACO:

"hey man" Caleb entered my dorm.

"Yeah mate"

"So, I talked to Irene about your little pleasure session the night of the party". That bastard. I grit my teeth, trying to control my impulse to punch him square in the face.

"I told you to never bring it up Caleb"

"Yeah, yeah I know." I give him a deadpan look. How could he just throw wind to what I said?

"Listen Draco, she wasn't mad about it and I didn't bring it up on purpose" he lowers his tone.

"What'd she say? When you brought it up?"

"Oh she became a tomato alright" he grins and I can feel my lips smirk.

"But she told me something rather interesting. You guys spoke after the party?" he raises his eyebrow at me.

"No, we haven't" I exhale

"Why, may I ask?" I don't know what to say to him. Why didn't I speak to Irene after that night? Maybe it was because I realised what an idiot I had been. I let my walls down again, I was so close to her, her beautiful body in my hands. If I would have let her kiss me, I knew would never have been able to leave. But, I had to leave. It was too bad that I was touching her, I had to get myself away from her. But she pulled me towards her like a magnet, so now I have to repel her as much I can. But Caleb doesn't need to know all this. I sigh and say:

"You know me Caleb, I don't talk to the ones I've already used"

"Bullshit Malfoy. You did not have sex with her, you never get intimate with a girl unless it turns into sex. You ignore them after you have no use of them any longer. That is not the case with Irene. I have basically seen the entire process of you falling for her. Don't you dare lie to me man. What is the matter?"

I opened my mouth to tell him that he was over reacting, and that there was nothing wrong, but instead I told him the truth.

"She came to my dorm Caleb. Bellatrix threatened to use anyone I cared about. She wants me to report Potter to Umbridge. I'm scared she'll find out about Irene, Caleb. I, I -uh feel like she will use her against me" I was shuddering when Caleb put a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry you are going through this man, it will get better" he said in a low, soothing voice

"Don't lie to me Cal, I know it won't. So let's just not pretend. I don't have time for emotions right now"

"Or maybe that is all you need right now. huh?"

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean Malfoy is that you should stop brooding all the time, and not try to control everything that happens in your life, you need to let loose mate"

"That is the worst advice ever"

"It is the best. You'll see" he gives me one last pat on my shoulder and leaves.

I scoff, let loose huh?

IRENE:

I did not want to interrupt Nora and Zoe so I came to sit by the black lake.

"Hey princess"

"Stop calling me that Caleb"

"No" I roll my eyes at him

"Anyway I promised to do some digging"

"Yeah."
