"I need to know why you did it Nora"

"I'm telling you, I can't remember!"

"You don't remember what? Going around the halls, telling people how trustworthy I'am? Telling Potter and his friends fake stories of my betrayal? How could you? I thought you were my friend Nora"

"I know what I did is absolutely wrong Irene and you have every right to be upset with me, but please trust me here I had no reason for telling Potter that. I never wanted to bring up you and Draco. I- I don't even remember doing it for god's sake" trail of tears started leaving her eyes. She has been hurt enough, she does not deserve more. I feel so guilty for speaking to her that way.

"hey hey it's alright. I'm sorry" I hug her and rub her back soothingly.

"I don't know, how that happened Irene. It's not what I wanted. I don't remember" she kept saying

"Shh, I believe you" I didn't. And I felt more guilty for not being able to trust her. I had to be sure. I closed my eyes and brought my wand near her temple.

"I'm sorry Nora" I whispered before I invaded her mind and stole her memories like a thief.

Nora was walking towards the Ravenclaw common room when she found Ginny and Hermione approaching her.

"Nora. We've been meaning to speak to you" Hermione said in a serious tone

"Sure Mione, shoot"

"Not here" Nora was slightly surprised when Hermione pulled her by her arm all the way to the Gryffindor common room while Ginny kept an eye on the surroundings.

"colloportus" "Muffliato" the witch spoke, making sure the three were alone in the room.

"What do you think about Umbridge's attempt at changing the school?" Ginny asked her

Nora wrinkled her nose in anger and hatred, "I think the toad has gone too far"

"Too far for everyone to stay silent?" Ginny asked raising a brow

"Absolutely! We cannot just sit here and wait for her to pin up another decree on that wall of hers"

"That is why, we have decided to take action" Hermione spoke

"How so?"

"We have formed a group. You see we meet after classes or when free and learn how to really defend ourselves. Harry teaches us. We thought you might want to join"

"This is brilliant guys. I'll make sure to ask Irene"

"Of course" Nora replied

"So you in?"

"Yes"

"Good. The next meeting is day after tomorrow, meet me in the great hall after lunch I'll take you to the place since you don't know where the meetings are held" Hermione said

"I'll make sure me and Irene are there. Thank you. You guys will really be helping a lot of people"

"We hope" Hermione gave Nora a small smile

"I'll get going then, I'll meet you on time"

"Sure. Bye"

There was nothing in this memory that informed Irene what led to the current outcome. In fact, Nora was looking forward to asking me. Then why didn't she?
