The sound of clearing throat made Irene jump out of my arms.
"Hope we didn't interrupt" Theo grinned at a flustered Irene and I sneered at him.
"Hey mate! You okay now?" Caleb asked me
"Yes much better" I replied
"Good. You scared us ferret ass" Typical Zoe. I roll my eyes at her.
"Would you three fucking move from the door, there are other people too you know?" came a voice from outside the dorm, and surely after Caleb, Theo and Zoe moved Pansy came in with Daphne, Nora and Luna.
"Didn't know me being not well would result in a Slytherin get-together"
"Hey, I'm a proud Ravenclaw I'll let you know and Nora and Luna too" Irene said and I chuckled.
"Of course" I replied
"Hope you feel better soon Draco" Nora smiled at me and placed a card at my bedside table.
"Thanks Hart"
Luna came next and placed a weird object on my table. "It will get rid of the Nargles, you have quite a few" she said in her dreamy voice
"Er Thanks Loon- um Lovegood"
"That's quite alright Draco. Get well soon" she smiled and moved back to stand next to Caleb. Weird, that one.
"You scared us idiot" Daphne said and placed two chocolate bars next to the card.
"Speak for yourself Love, I was quite happy to get rid of Malfoy" Theo said and earned a well-deserved smack on his arm by Pansy.
"Shut it Theo. Although I hardly think the chocolates were necessary Daph, did you not see the entirety of chocolate-based food on his table?" Caleb grinned
"I didn't know what he'd eat okay?" Irene said in her defence.
"Sure. So, this is why I did not get chocolate pudding at dinner today. It was hoarded by Irene for Malfoy here" Zoe says and fake pouts
"Nah. It was because Theo ate yours" Caleb grinned and said
"That was you!" Pansy said
"Traitor" Caleb feigned getting hit in the heart.
Irene let out a laugh and at that all I could do was look at her. The way her eyes would crinkle and shine, the way her teeth flashed, how her cheeks lifted. There was only two words to describe her: breathtakingly beautiful. Her gaze landed on me and I stared right at her, colour rose to her cheeks and she shyly looked down making me smirk.
"I think we'll let Draco have her rest" Nora broke the chatter and gave me a small smile
"I'm thankful you're a Ravenclaw Hart. Apparently, Slytherins don't understand the concept of rest" I say
"Don't make me smack your face Malfoy" Zoe warned then smirked
"But we shall comply and let you rest, O royal White ass!" Theo mocked and bowed
Pansy approached me and squeezed my hand, "Take care asshole"
"Sure thing Pans" I smiled at her
Then she turned to face Irene.
Oh fuck. How could I forget. There are going to be fireworks flying around now. They both stared at each other for a while. Oh god, anytime now. How do I evacuate?
