Serendipity || Na Jaemin FF (Ongoing)

Today is Jaemin's flight to Japan.

And obviously, it was a sad day for me.

Well probably for the both of us.

Even if I didn't want to go and see him leave, I still did come to send him to the airport.

We sat beside each other and I smiled at him when he entered the car. I was seated near the window and beside him was Jisung who clearly had no intention of getting off of his phone.

"Today's the day." I whispered.

He sighed and nodded.

The guys were all noisy and loud but the two of us kept silent.

I suddenly felt him nudge me using his elbow so I looked at him.

"Your eyes looks puffy. Don't tell me you cried all night because I was leaving?" He whispered. He sounded like he was teasing me so I glared at him for a quick second and looked away.

Fine. It was true that I cried. Does he have to make me feel embarrassed about it?!

He just chuckled and I don't know what he was thinking but he took my free hand and intertwined our hands under the jacket that was placed on his lap.

He was smiling from ear to ear and I was so flustered of what he did!

I tried to pull my hand away from him when Jisung suddenly pulled Jaemin's jacket so he definitely saw our hands together.

"Can I borrow your jacket- Oh shhh- "

Jaemin stared blankly at him and Jisung placed it back carefully and shifted away from us. He smiled awkwardly and pretended to be busy.

I bit the insides of my cheeks and pulled my hand away.

We listened to some music and most of us did fall asleep after some time.

"Guys. Let's get something to eat first?" Jeno said as he stared at the road since he was the one driving.

"Sure. My treat." I heard Jaemin answer.

"We'll be there probably in 20 minutes." Jeno said.

I shifted in my seat and when I opened my eyes, I caught Jaemin staring.

"What?? Why are you staring at me??" I asked.

"You're dreaming, SooJin. Go back to sleep." He said and acted as if he wasn't doing anything.

I rolled my eyes and stared at him until he felt uncomfortable.

"I said I wasn't staring." He said with a soft chuckle.

I nudged him and he looked finally looked at me.

"Does my eyes still look puffy?" I asked. I was so curious so I really had to ask.

He pinched my cheek and shook his head.

"Not anymore. Did you really cry because of me?" He asked in worry.

"No." I stuttered.

He smiled cheekily while nodding his head.

We got off the van as soon as Jeno parked the car and Jaemin seem to act weird.

"Walk closer to them!" I whispered him as we walked behind our friends.

We're all complete today and I thought it was a great idea to capture this moment.

EunKyung, Sooah, Rihyun, and the 6 others were walking before us and they were messing with each other as we were walking towards the fast food restaurant.
