Serendipity || Na Jaemin FF (Ongoing)

The event will be held in a week and I was so excited to see the final outcome of the preparations made by the council.

As usual, Jaemin and I were assigned for the photo booth and media presentations while the others had their own tasks.

I often edit the video presentations at Jaemin's dorm and we definitely got close over time.

I'm glad because even though I'm not sure if he feels the same towards me, I was already happy because we're this close.

Weeks had already passed since his ex girlfriend came back but he seem to be really keeping his distance from Hyuri and would always try not to bring back or talk about their ill-fated relationship.

I don't know why, but i want to know what exactly happened with their relationship. I would often catch him staring at her but he would shrug and deny it when people notice.

Maybe there's still a part of him that loves Hyuri and that hurt me so much but I had no choice but to endure all of it all by myself.

I was sitting at a bench, waiting for my friends when someone poked my side making me flinch.

"YAH!" I said and glared at the person who surprised me.

"Hi~" Renjun greeted and I playfully slapped his arm.

"You scared the shit out of me!" I said and he chuckled.

"You alone?" He asked as he sat beside me.

"Nooo, i was waiting for EunKyung and Rihyun." I said.

"Can we join you guys for lunch?" He asked.

"Why? Are you gonna try to flirt with EunKyung?" I teased and he got flustered.

"Yah! Of course not!" He protested.

"Fine. Okaaaay. No need to be a defensive about it!" I said.

"Oh here they are. Hey! Over here!" Renjun said as he waved behind me.

I saw Jaemin walking beside Haechan, Jeno and the others and they immediately jogged towards our table.

"I found Y/n when I was looking for vacant seats." Renjun said.

Jaemin sat across me but poked my side before sitting.

I glared at him jokingly and he wiggled his eyebrows.

"YAH! Why on earth are you guys here?" Rihyun asked the guys when she saw them sitting comfortably, barely giving them some space.

Rihyun sat beside me and gave me the food she bought.

"Thank you~" I said and happily ate my food.

Jaemin suddenly tried stealing a piece of meat on my plate and so I shoot a glare at him.

"You should share." He said with a little pout.

"Fine...Here you go." I said.

I placed a piece of meat on his plate and his lips formed a huge smile.

"Is it good?" I asked and he nodded.

Haechan and Renjun started fooling around and it made our group burst into laughter.

"Jaemin?" Our laughter was interrupted when Hyuri called Jaemin as she walked alone.

After that incident, she kept distant to us and it actually bothered me a bit.

Most of our classmates wanted to be her friend, so she didn't have a hard time looking for new companions.

She smiled at him and Jaemin looked away.
