Serendipity || Na Jaemin FF (Ongoing)

"Hey, have you decided??" Soo-ah said.

We are currently at the library trying to study before class starts.

"Nah, I don't think I'd be able to handle too much stuff." I said.

She was still trying to persuade me to join the student council but I was afraid I might not be a big help to their team.

"You still have a few hours to decide. I promise it'll be really fun! It'll make you productive, meet new people—" She persuaded.

"Fine. I'll think about it again." I nodded as I grabbed my things.

"Yah where are you going?" Rihyun asked.

"We have a group meeting todaaay. I'll see you later after class~" I said and went out of the library.

I was humming to my favorite song when someone patted my head.

I annoyingly looked behind and saw that it was Jaemin with a huge grin on his face.

"Hi." He greeted.

My face immediately changed and greeted him back.

"Good morning." I said.

"You're early for class today." He said as we walked together.

"Oh, we'll be having a group meeting at the lobby before class starts." I said.

"Good timing. I was heading to the lobby too." He happily said.

"Did you have breakfast already?" I asked.

Well, I didn't want him to feel I was feeling uncomfortable so I took the shot and tried to spark up a conversation.

Guess it was my luck seeing him here.

"No. I usually don't eat breakfast." He said as he rubbed his nape.

I gasped.

"Tsk! You should always have something before going to class!" I scolded.

He chuckled.

"I was just not used to eat in the morning." He said.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"Just because?" He shrugged and I shook my head.

"It's still early so let's grab some breakfast before heading to the lobby? My treat. What do you think?" I said.

"Let's go then?" He said.

I smiled and I was surprised the atmosphere between us became lighter.

We went to a small convenience store inside the campus and looked around for something to eat.

"Those sandwiches looks so good." I said.

"Should we buy two flavors and take half each?" He suggested.

"I like that idea~" I said.

"Pick the ones you like." Jaemin said.

"I want to try these two." I said as I pointed at a chicken and an egg sandwich.

"Okay. Pay for them now." He said and I nodded.

But little did I know, while I was busy paying for the food, Jaemin grabbed some drinks for the two of us.

I was surprised to see him paying for the drinks.

"Drinks are on me." He said with a smile.

"I told you it's my treat!" You whispered.
