Serendipity || Na Jaemin FF (Ongoing)

I was looking forward going to school everyday.

And its all because of him.

I always try to pass by their room, silently hoping to see him.

I also started making friends with people because of my new found friends.

I don't know...but I think I was at the rink of liking him more and more everyday.

But I know myself.

I know that I don't have the courage to let him know I like him.

"Soo jin! What club are you going in to??" Soo-ah asked.

It was that time of the academic year, where students get to choose their own clubs aside from their majors.

"Hmm...photography club maybe?" I said.

"Good choice! I'm gonna audition for the orchestra club with Rihyun~ Ugh wish us luck." She said.

I giggled because she seemed to be so excited.

"How about you Eun Kyung-iee" i asked as I nudged her.

"I don't know what I like..." Eun Kyung said.

"Hey, look. Why don't you try auditioning for the art club? Renjun might be happy to see you thereee." I suggested.

She heaved a sigh.

"I know Renjun might be very happy but-I just can't." She said.

"Come on! Just tryyy." Rihyun said.

I patted Eun Kyung's back and she smiled.

"Fine. I'll think about it." She said.

We were enjoying our free time when Renjun approached our group.

"Eun Kyung." He awkwardly greeted.

It was awkward for the both of them since it had been a few days since they got in good terms.

"Oh...Hi." she said.

Renjun greeted us but when our eyes met, he immediately looked behind his back.

I looked at what he was looking and saw their group.

And of course he was there.

"Hey Renjun. What is it??" She asked catching his attention.

"O-oh right, uhm I just want to ask if you want to join the art club with me?" He asked.

He seemed to be really nervous for her response, too.

I pursed my lips. I was so happy for her!

I knew she was still uneasy. She kinda spaced out a bit when Rihyun nudged her.

"You okay?" She asked and Eun Kyung nodded slowly.

"Okay." She said.

My eyes widen. I looked over Soo-ah and Rihyun and they looked so surprised too.

"That's great! I'm glad you said yes. Wanna-hang out on friday?" He said shyly.

"Sorry. But we're gonna do some things on fri-" she was cut off by Rihyun.

"No, it's cancelled. She can go." Rihyun interrupted.

Renjun chuckled as he rubbed his nape.

Eun Kyung looked at her confusingly and Rihyun smiled at her.

"By the way, I'm actually with some friends. Mind if we sit with you?" Renjun asked nicely.

They all shook their heads and so did I.

He looked behind him and happily called his friends.

"Hey! Come over here!" He called.

Jaemin turned to our direction and so did his other friends.

They all left their table while carrying their food and walked towards us.

Rihyun, Soo-ah, and Eun Kyung teasingly looked at my direction.

I widen my eyes and warned them not not make a mess.

They giggled and I mentally slapped myself.

"We probably know each other but we've been really curious who she was." Renjun said to my friends, pertaining to me.

"Thanks to her, I was able to realize I was wrong for believing the rumors." He continued saying.

My eyes widen.

Please just let me get out of this....

"Soo Jin right? Here's Jeno, Jisung, Chenle, Haechan, Mark, and Jaemin." He said while introducing them to me.

And there I was, a total awkward shit.

I smiled at them and bowed awkwardly.

They sat at our table and Jaemin sat across my seat.

It was weird cause I couldn't look at him in the eye like I did before.

They were chatting when Soo-ah mentioned my name.

"Soo Jin is planning to join Photography club, too!" Soo-ah said.

I was kinda in my virtual bubble when Rihyun nudged me.

"Huh? What was that?" I said. All eyes were on me and it added to the pressure I feel.

"Jaemin will be joining the photography club too." Rihyun repeated.

I didn't realized I spaced out a bit.

I was kinda shocked.

"Oh-that's great..." I said as I took a bite of my meal trying not to let them see how uneasy I was.

"Soo Jin, Do you want to join the club with me?"

I almost choked on my food as our eyes met.
