Serendipity || Na Jaemin FF (Ongoing)

"That's so messed up, Jaemin." Renjun said as he massaged his forehead.

As soon as Jaemin got into their dorm, the guys were in the living room waiting for him so he had no choice but to tell them what happened.

Soo-ah had never been in such a bad mood so everyone knew it was something serious.

"I feel bad for Soojin-noona." Jisung said.

Jaemin felt extremely guilty about it and he really wants to personally apologize but Soojin wasn't picking up any of his calls.

"Try calling her." Haechan said.

"Or leave some messages." Jeno added.

"I already did. But I obviously got no response." Jaemin shook his head and groaned in annoyance.

"It's not working. I bet she's mad at me for wrongly accusing her. She never took any of my calls even before all of this happened. Just as I was trying to be in good terms with her, all these things suddenly added to the problem." He said.

"Let it pass for a while. Give her some rest and give her space." Renjun suggested.

"Na Jaemin. Do you like her?" Haechan suddenly asked.

...Soojin was obviously the first person that came across Jaemin's mind.

"You know the answer to that." Renjun nudged Haechan.

"Stop it, you guys. We should never assume just because it's obvious." He said and Jaemin felt guilty.

He slowly looked at him and smiled.

"Right. I do like her." He said sincerely.

"Then go find them. She's with Bomin right now." Haechan said.

"What? I thought she's home by now?" Jaemin asked.

"Yah! You knew she was with Bomin but you didn't tell him right away?" Jeno said.

Haechan shrugged and went to his room, leaving all of them hanging.

"Don't just sit there and do nothing. Go find her!" Renjun suddenly said.

"Renjun-hyung...You said earlier to give Soojin-noona some space..." Chenle muttered.

Renjun gave him a blank face and Chenle chuckled.

"Well I didn't knew he was with that Bomin guy..." Renjun said as an excuse.

Jaemin gulped and made a decision.

"I'll go ahead and look around." He said and went out immediately.

He tried looking for them at places around school and fortunately found them sooner than expected.

They were sitting outside a convenience store and Soojin was crying like a baby in front of Bomin.

Bomin looked so flustered and kept on patting her head gently.

Jaemin's heart ached for her. He knew he may be the reason why she was crying.

He didn't had the guts to face her but he couldn't take seeing her alone with that guy she just met.

"I should make it up to her today." He mumbled to himself as he made his way to get near them.

But just as he was about to call her, he heard her say something that shattered him into pieces.

"If I could just go back in the past, I'd wish not to meet him again." She said while sobbing softly.

Jaemin froze right there and then.
