Serendipity || Na Jaemin FF (Ongoing)

I arrived school just early for the preparations and everyone kept asking me about my injury so I started to feel bothered by it. I took 2 days of absence because my mom asked me to undergo some checkups.

"Please focus on the preparations. I'm really okay!" I said with a soft chuckle.

"Hey. Don't hesitate to tell me if in case you're not feeling okay hm?" Eunkyung whispered and I nodded.

"Soojin!! Ahhh I've missed you!!" Rihyun rushed to hug me.

I patted her bum and she frowned.

"I know you did! Its so obvious!" I said and we giggled.

"I'll start with the documentation." I said and she nodded.

All of them got busy and so did I.

I started taking videos and pictures starting from the entrance when my camera lens captured someone very familiar...

He smiled at me and I slowly pressed the shutter release button and captured a photo of him smiling.

I put down my camera and gave him a small smile before walking away and continued my stuff.

"Soojin." Jaemin called as he rushed towards me.

I gulped before looking back.

"Hm? You need something?" I asked with a smile.

"Can we talk?" He asked softly.

"Sure. Do we have a problem with the editing?" I asked.

"No. It's not about that." He said with a sigh.

"I'm sorry for what happened." He said.

What the heck is he apologizing for?

I sighed and let out a chuckle when I realized he was pertaining to what happened.

"Stop mentioning it. It makes me uncomfortable and its done so forget about it. Let's just enjoy the event and take good photos to publish." I said as I patted his shoulder before leaving.

I acted busy so Jaemin would leave me alone.

"Noona! Can you shoot this as well?" Jisung said as he pointed at the arch they prepared.

"Wow! This is so pretty! Quick! Try standing at the center." I said as he happily posed and I giggled at how cute when Jisung tried acting cool.

"Me too!" Chenle came rushing towards us.

"Okay okay." I said and they posed for my camera.

I saw Jaemin standing from a far, looking envious.

"Noona! How long do we have to poseeee." Chenle nagged and I got back to my senses.

"Sorry!" I said.

Everyone started entering the hall and we got busy capturing very happy expressions of students.

It was so overwhelming and the month-long preparations felt so worth it.

Everyone looked so lively and I hoped I could be as happy as they were.

"Soojin, can you guys start the photo booth now?" Soo-ah asked and I nodded.

"Got it." I said with a smile.

Jaemin was already at our booth and Hyuri was there too.

Suddenly, a heavy arm rested above my shoulder and I flinched.

"Yah! Lee Haechan! Stop scaring people like that!" I said.

"What's wrong? Why don't you just go in there?" He asked casually.
