WARNING THIS CHAPTER IS VERY SHORT AND IT WILL MESS WITH YOU

"Here." Luke appeared to my right as I observed the young picture of a boy.

"I played baseball when I was a kid. Loved it." He took a sip from his hot chocolate and put his arm around my shoulder.

"I wasn't a sports person. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't."

"Why not?" Luke looked down at me and I scolded myself for the words that have just come out of my mouth. I turned away and walked over to the couch by the heated fire Luke had started in the fireplace. I sat on the edge of the leather couch and felt it cave next to me as he sat.

I turned his way after a long period of silence and saw the reflection of the orange fire in his blue eyes which was absolutely gorgeous.

He quickly turned his head and I looked back down to my hot mug which burned my palms as my cheeks heated with embarrassment.

Luke began to laugh as his head fell in his lap.

"What?," he continued to laugh to himself,"what? What's so funny?"

"Nothing."

"No tell me." I whined.

"I just can't believe you're under Ashton's spell." I placed my mug on the coffee table, rolling my eyes and standing up.

"I mean, seriously," he stood up as well and followed my pacing actions," you can't actually be into that guy?"

I turned and tapped my fingers on the counter in annoyance as he complained about a relationship he had no business sticking his nose into.

"Come on, Josie." He folded his arms and rested his hip against the counter. Purposely pouting his large lips and biting his lip ring. His blue eyes squinting.

"That thing must get annoying." I shifted, trying to change the subject.

"What thing?" He inching closer, obviously realizing what I was talking about. I turned my body forward, trying not to be tempted by his abrupt actions.

"Your ring." I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"Tell me, have you ever kissed someone with a lip ring, Josie."

"No, because I don't go around kissing every guy I see."

"You wanna know how it feels." His body so close to mine I could feel his heat.

"You, are wrong." I laughed and clapped my hands together.

"You've never been touched. You've never kissed anyone like me before, have you? Someone who actually cares about you. And thinks about you, day and night." He took my pressed hands and separated them.

"Just say no..." His lips inching closer to mine and I forgot all about he shaggy haired mess who's haircut appointment was missed probably a million times.

I took Luke's cheeks and pressed his lips against mine with such passion. His cold lip ring moved as I got a refreshing spike each time it did.

Luke's hands took the back of my legs and put me on the counter as my hands plastered across his back, finally tracing the back of his neck. My fingertips leaving chills on his skin, causing me to smile.

"Think it's funny?" Luke pulled away seriously. His face looked as if he wasn't joking and I became terrified in that moment.

"I'm just kidding," my eyebrows went down and a wash of relief came over me,"you should've seen your face." Then he quickly pressed his lips on mine again.

Luke's fingers started crawling up the back of my shirt and I pushed his chest.

"What's wrong?" Luke placed his hands on my hips and I wiped my bottom lip in embarrassment.

"I-I'm just not ready." Luke's fingers lifted my chin and put his forehead against mine.

"Who said anything about having sex?"
