I feel like good decisions come from experience, and experience comes from making bad decisions. The bad decisions that we made in life definitely helpled us grow as a person but that doesn't mean we have to repeat our mistakes again. Repeating your mistakes over and over again it's already a choice.
When thinking about life, remember this: No amount of guilt can change your past. No amount of anxiety can change the future.
Stop beating yourself because of something you did in the past, it already happened even if you wanted or not. Guilt and regret will only destroy yourself, you have to let them go. I think so far the best way to let go is to write down what you feel about the situation. What caused it? Why it's stiil haunting you? We always bottle up our emotions and sometimes can't talk about them out of shame. But you still have to let them go, so free your mind, write about it. I never believed in it too, until I gave it a chance and now I can't stop. It's making me better. As for the future, as I said before, stressing over what will happen won't change the way things will work out. If you overthink your future you'll only start imagining the worst in every situation and you'll back up before you'll even get the chance to see how things will actually turn out.
''It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to has power over you.''
