~Nico~
I smiled and let Lilly lay down in bed. Before I lied down with her, I got up.
"Where are you going?" Lilly asked.
"Bathroom. There's one in your room, isn't there?"
"Yeah. It's right over there."
I went into the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I looked at my face and rubbed my hand over it. Let me explains his to you. I do have to shave, like most eighteen year old guys do. But me being me would look absolutely terrible with a mustache or anything of the sort. And for both mine and Lilly's sake, I always have a clean shaven face. She doesn't seem to notice, but I take that as a good thing. Even if she does, she's never said anything.
Anyways, I haven't shaved in about a day, but it's still not really noticeable. I use the bathroom and take my shirt off, then find some pants I can wear to bed. I walked out of the bathroom and find Lilly already almost asleep. I smiled as I turned her lamp off, snuggling up beside her. She's shivering, so I wrap her up in my arms, her face against my chest. I felt her smile.
"I thought you were asleep," I whispered.
"I was until you got in bed with me," she whispered back.
I smiled. "Go to sleep."
I kissed her on the forehead and felt her breathing slowing down against my bare skin. I fell asleep shortly after she did, having no weird dreams at all. I woke up to find me laying on my back with my arm around Lilly's waist. She's turned on her side, facing me, with her arm slung over my chest and shoulder. I chuckle silently at the sight of my girlfriend. Her hand moves up to my face and her hand goes over my cheek.
"You need to shave," she mumbled.
"I didn't think you noticed," I mumbled back.
"I do, trust me. You always shave, Nico. This needs fixed. I don't like it."
I roll my eyes and turn on my side facing her more. "I didn't have time yesterday. I will today, don't worry. No need to get all defensive about my stubbly face."
Her hand went over my face again. "I still don't like it. I will get defensive about your stubbly face because I know you don't like it either."
I groaned and looked into her barely opened eyes. "I wanted to cuddle with you, but you ruined it. You just had to touch my face."
She looked down towards my lips, no doubt looking at the small stubble. "To be fair, it does kinda look hot on you."
I feel my face burn. "So now I'm hot? I like it."
She groaned and moved up against me. "Let me sleep longer. And, yes, Nico, you're very hot."
I smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "Go back to sleep. It's only..." I paused to look up at the clock sitting near her bed. "...ugh, seven o'clock."
She groaned again and moved her hand, making some odd gesture towards he window. It became darker in her room, no more morning sun pouring through the window. She smiled some and settled into me more.
"What the flip did you do?" I asked.
"Vines," she replied.
"Oh."
Her hand went back up to my face and it brushed against my cheek again. "This might look kinda hot on you, but can you please shave?"
I kissed her forehead again. "Anything you want."
"Good. Now shut up and let me flipping sleep. You can cuddle with me now, Nico."
I pulled her even closer. "Thank you, babe."
