~Lilly~

The girl has rusty colored hair, wavy, and up in a low ponytail. Her brown eyes and sparkling in excitement as she looks Nico over.

I know exactly where this is going. Of course I've heard of the Percy Jackson series and Heroes of Olympus series. I've read some of them, actually. But me being with the real and true Nico di Angelo, this could go down quick and easy. The girl is obviously a fan of the books and has noticed Nico.

"Oh my gods! Are you Nico di Angelo, son of Hades?" the girl shrieked.

"No! None of that stuff is real. They're just books," Nico said.

"Really? Because in the first book of Percy Jackson, he states that he never wanted to be a demigod. So it's obviously real!"

I spoke up. "No, sweetheart, it's not. I'm sorry. I've read the books too and I thought it was-"

"And who might you be? Nico di Angelo is gay! He doesn't date girls, which is terrible because I'm in love with him," she said, cutting me off.

Really? I don't think you are! If you were in love with him, you would be where I am right now! Nico di Angelo, yeah, the Nico di Angelo is my boyfriend! He loves me and I love him more than you can ever imagine! So why don't you just waddle away with your little book and leave me and my boyfriend alone!

"Ok, can we help you? What's your name?" I asked, obviously getting annoyed.

"My name is Isabel Phelps. I'm fifteen and I want to know if you really are my one true hero!"

Just go away! That's right, girl! Greek myths are true and, again, the Nico di Angelo is my boyfriend! Not yours! Ha!

Gabby and I exchange glances: idiot.

"No! He's not Nico! I was just fortunate to find a guy that looks similar to Nico. I agree with you that it would be awesome to have all of this be true. I mean, who isn't in love with Percy Jackson? But my favorite character is Nico di Angelo. I thought I was in love with him. Well, until I met this one," I said, looking at Nico.

He smiled at me. "My name is Nathan. I'm sorry to disappoint you. And just so you're aware, the books never clarify that Nico is gay. He could be bi! He might be straight! But I can tell you this: I'm Nathan, I'm nineteen-"

"But by now, that's about how old Nico should be!" she said.

Nico continued, "-and want nothing to do with Greek myths. Non of it is true anyways. I'm very sorry to disappoint you, like I said. And before you ask, no, I don't know anyone that looks like Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, or Leo. Now, if you will excuse us, I would like to get back to talking to my girlfriend."

Isabel huffed a sigh and walked away. I looked at Nico and kissed him on the cheek. Gabby gave us a sideways smile.

"That couldn't have gone any worse," Nico said.

"I know. I've never really thought about it. I actually have read the books, but not the Heroes of Olympus ones. But you do play a big part in the books, so you're technically famous. We can't risk that again. Nico, there are a ton of girls that probably dream of having you as their boyfriend," I told him.

He smirked. "Were you one of them?"

"Not really. I honestly didn't pay too much attention to any of the characters. I really just skimmed the books and found info about certain things. I saw the name Nico di Angelo a few times, but when I met you and heard your name, it didn't even register. Sorry, sweetheart. And Nathan? Welcome back to Paris!"
