~Nico~
I smiled at Lilly. "I'm up for that. But first..."
I went towards her, smiling. I kissed Lilly on the cheek lightly. Her cheeks turned pink and I could tell she had butterflies. But she placed her hands on both sides of my jawline and pulled my lips into hers.
She kissed me pretty hard, keeping her hands on my jaw. I kissed her back and brought her body against mine. She hesitated some, but let me press her body against mine. I moved my hands down to her hips, my right hand brushing against her soft skin where her t-shirt had slipped up some. I found myself letting my thumb move back and forth against her hip.
One of Lilly's hands slid from my jaw to the back of my neck, her cold fingers sending a shock of chill down my back. Not a bad sort of cold, but just that shock of connection that we have always had.
I kissed her even harder. Her fingers moved across my neck sending more chills down my spine. Her lips pulled away from mine and I found myself wanting to continue kissing her hard. She backed away from me slightly, just enough for me to look into her gorgeous eyes. Her hand found mine and our fingers slipped together, disappearing in snow, landing down the road. She turned to face me.
My gods. Can she be any more beautiful? The way her hazel eyes catch any bit of light, giving them more of a gold color. The way her hair, being the mixture of browns, reds, and blondes that it is, catches the glimmer of the yellow sun, making her hair shine, giving off a golden glow. The way her slightly tan skin glistens enough to make me want to touch it. The way her smile makes me want to fall over and die because it's so stunning. The way she's her.
That's the best part. How she acts around me: giggling at my stupid comments because I'm too much of a sissy to admit that I'm still that nervous wreck of a sixteen year old I was when I first met her; smiling at almost anything I say; catching me stare at her, then scolding me playfully; blushing the color of a tomato from almost anything close to my pathetic attempts of flirting; laughing when I do something really idiotic because, again, I'm still a nervous wreck around her; just her personality.
"Nico..." A hand was waved in front of my face. "Nico..."
I blinked furiously as I realized that Lilly had caught me, once again, full on staring at her and slightly checking her out, all with a big grin on my face. I quickly looked down, awkwardly scratching the back of my head, my face feeling like a flipping toaster oven.
"Oh, um, I, uh..." I couldn't seem to find words as I continued looking down at the ground.
I heard a small puff of laughter and felt a soft hand on my arm. "You are so cute."
My face felt even more warm, which I didn't think possible. "Uh, you, um, and, I, and, uh..."
Another small puff of laughter. "Seriously, quit being so adorable."
I rubbed the back of my neck and kept my head down, but moved my eye contact up to her, making my eye brows arch and forehead crinkle. Her hand went to my jawline and I saw the sympathy and concern in her eyes.
"Are you al-"
"I'm fine, sweetheart. I promise," I quickly replied.
"Then why were you staring at me and grinning like an idiot? What were you thinking about?"
I felt my face go red again. "Uh, um, err, uh..." I looked down again. "Just how awesome you are."
I looked back into her sparkling eyes and saw the pink spreading across her skin. "But...and, Nico, you, and...um..."
I smiled at her. "Now who's the cute one?"
"Shut up." Her voice was quiet and she pushed my chest.
