~Lilly~
I left Nico that night in time for my classes. I got dressed in his sweatshirt and a pair of jeans, pulling my long hair up in a ponytail. My hair is about to the bottom of my waist now. I went to my classes, then talked to the same professor.
"Um, I have a huge question and almost a favor sort of thing. Would it be possible for me to take a bunch of extra classes and do extra credit to maybe graduate at the end of this year, instead of taking the summer classes?" I asked cautiously.
She smiled. "It is, actually. If you take enough, I could let you graduate this year. It seems highly impossible and odd, but it can be done. And with your level of learning, you can make it happen, Miss Lillian."
"Thank you so much! I can't wait to tell everyone!"
I ended up taking a crap ton of extra classes just to graduate at the end of this college year, without taking the summer classes. Gabby would visit me on Saturdays, every two weeks. A couple times, I got a few of Nico's black t-shirts, which I usually wear to bed a lot, or when I wear my sweatpants. It's one week until break and I can't wait.
I finished my testing for this week and packed a small bag of stuff. I told my mom where I was going and she said to have fun. I managed to make it to camp, with Gabby, and ran to find Nico. I saw him walking down in the strawberry fields and I practically jumped on him.
"NICO," I screamed, hugging him with all of my power.
He stumbled and we both hit the ground, laughing. I pushed him down and kissed him. And let me just say that it's an awesome feeling to have when I haven't seen him since Halloween. He wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed me back. I slowly pulled away from him and hugged him again.
"Gods, I've missed you so much!" I squealed.
"I've missed you too! Oh my gods, Lilly!" Nico replied.
I laughed and kissed him again. "Gods of freaking Olympus, I love you!"
He put his hand in his pocket and took my hand in his. "I have something to ask you."
"Okay," I said quietly.
"Lillian Michelle, we have been through everything together. Since we met, I knew I wanted you to be mine forever. I love you more than absolutely anything that I have or will ever have. You're the perfect girl. So," he pulled his hand out of his pocket revealing a ring, "will you marry me?"
I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands. The tears started flowing as I nodded.
"Yes!" I said, my voice muffled from my hands.
He took my left hand and slipped the ring onto my finger. Nico was smiling the biggest smile he has ever smiled as I put my hands on his face and pulled his lips to mine. It was the best kiss I have ever shared with Nico. We broke apart and I hugged him. My happiness was bursting at the seams.
"I love you, Lillian," Nico whispered.
And I started crying again. "I love you too, Nico!"
So my ring is gorgeous. It's gold and fits my finger perfectly. It's a very simple band, some of which is twisted and has small diamonds around parts of it. I honestly this it's the most beautiful piece of jewelry I've ever seen in my life. I love it so much.
After a while of freaking out about being engaged and my beautiful ring, it was about curfew. But Nico told me he had his own apartment now, so he took me back there. Around eleven, after a movie, we both put comfortable clothes on. For Nico, it was no shirt and pants, and for me, it was sweatpants and Nico's t-shirt.
