~Nico~

I looked into Lilly's eyes. She smiled shyly and looked down. I stood up, then tripped over something, falling onto the floor. Lilly started laughing. I got up, mumbling Greek curse words, and sat down beside her, like I was doing before, to catch my breath.

"You're lucky I didn't get hurt. But you still have the cutest laugh, Lilly," I told her.

Her face went pink. "You've said that to me before. When we met."

I smiled. "Yeah, I did. And that's when you sang Taylor Swift for me."

"Oh my gods! I remember that! You are such a girl, Nico."

"I'm pretty sure I'm a guy, thank you! Would you like to check?"

Lilly's mouth dropped open. "Gross, Nico! That's nasty!"

I laughed and hugged her tightly. "I'm kidding! I'm totally kidding, Lilly."

"Good!" She pushed me off of her and giggled.

I grabbed her hand and dragged her back to the beach, after having to open the door from there and run up the stairs. Her fingers slipped through mine and we walked right along the waters edge. The small waves crashed on the shore, going over Lilly's bare feet.

"Nice P&L thing. How long did it take?" I asked.

She smiled. "About ten minutes."

"Impressive. I couldn't have done that."

"Well, yeah! You don't even have the powers to do it!"

I let go of her hand and picked her up by the waist, throwing her over my shoulder. She started laughing as I continued to walk.

"Nico! Let me go!" Lilly squealed. "Zach! Help me!"

I looked behind me and Zach was walking down towards us. I smirked at him and he smirked back.

"Did you hear something, Zach?" I asked.

"No, I didn't hear anything, sorry!" he replied.

"Oh, have you seen Lilly? I can't find her!"

"Nico! You are so mean! You're acting like I'm four! Would you like to have a four year old girlfriend?" Lilly asked.

Zach came right beside me. "I was actually wondering where Lilly was, but you obviously can't help me."

Lilly quit struggling and just let herself hang. "You two are so pathetic! I'm gonna kill both of you once Nico lets me go!"

"What do you need her for?" I asked.

"I'm having dinner with Ash tonight and I need flowers. Nobody from the Demeter cabin likes me very much. Lilly's my only friend from there."

"Who said I was your friend, Zachary? I guess I am, but whatever! And, Nico, if you don't let me go, you will be sorry!" Lilly squeaked.

I chuckled. "And what are you gonna do to me, darling?"

"Oh, sweetheart, you have no idea!"

"Oh, really? I'll take that as a challenge, babe."

"Nico, honey, you won't know what hit you!"

"Lillian, baby, good luck trying!"

Zach started laughing. "I'll just let you two argue. But first, Lilly, sweetie, can I have some flowers?"

"Zachary, you call me sweetie again, I'll kill you right after I get finished killing this blockhead. Now...knock yourself out. There's some flowers."

I turned and a bunch of different flowers started popping out of the sand.

"Now, Nico, darling, if you would be so kind as to put me down, I won't kill you. We both know that you know. I can kick your sorry butt," Lilly said.

"Oh, snap!" Zach said.

"Gods, dang it," I muttered.

I put Lilly down and her face was red. She punched me in the shoulder, and yes, it did hurt.

"Ow!" I squealed.

"That's for making me dizzy." She punched me again. "And that's for not listening."

I rolled my eyes. "Suck it up!"

She smiled sweetly, but a small evil twinkle glimmered in her eyes. "I can still kick you butt, Nico!"

"I'm sorry!" I said quickly.

She giggled and kissed me on the cheek. "Let's go to lunch. I need food."

I laughed and we walked up to lunch together. I ate and went over to find Lilly. Jason was standing there too.

"Oh, hey, Nico," Lilly said.

"Hey," I replied.

"Just be ready by around four. If we both are ready earlier, we can leave then. See ya," Jason said.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"Jason was just reminding me what time we were leaving. I need to pack. You can be the good boyfriend I know you are and help me!" Lilly said with an adorable smile.

"Sure, I'll help."

We went down to her cabin and I helped her get packed.
