~Nico~

When I woke up, Lilly was on the other side of the bed, on her side, not facing me. I smiled and rolled over to her. I pressed my stomach to her back and wrapped my arms around her waist. I nuzzled my face into her neck and pulled her closer. I kissed her neck.

"Ugh, Nico," Lilly mumbled.

"Good morning, beautiful," I mumbled back.

"Leave me alone."

"Why?"

"Because I want more sleep."

"I'll let you sleep. Baby, I just wanted to stay close to you, that's all."

She elbowed me in the chest. "Whatever. I'm not feeling the best, go away."

"Lilly, we've barley been married for a couple weeks and you want me to go away?" I poked her ribs. "I thought you loved me."

She giggled and rolled over. "I do, but please, Nico, leave me alone for about an hour. You can do whatever. I thought that sleep would help, but I really don't feel very good at all."

"Okay. I'm gonna get ready, then get some breakfast. Is that alright?" I asked.

"Do you really think I care at this moment?"

"No, Sassy-Pants! I'm kidding. Just tell me if you need anything."

I kissed her on the cheek, then took a shower. I went back into our room to get some clothes on. Lilly was still lying in bed, but was all curled up and shivering. So I quickly put my boxers and my jeans on and went over to my freezing wife. Gods, I still love saying that!

I covered her up more, then gently kissed her on the forehead. She was awake, but didn't look good at all.

"I love you, Lills," I whispered.

"I love you too," she whispered even quieter.

I smiled and slipped a shirt over my head. I then went out to the kitchen. I popped some bread in the toaster and looked in the cupboard for my jar of Nutella. Lilly and I have a deal. I have my Nutella and she has her chocolate icing. Yes, icing for a cake. It's some flavor, not necessarily chocolate. So I went looking for my Nutella, but it wasn't there.

I marched back into our room. "Lillian, where is my Nutella?"

She turned to look at me. "I ate it."

"You what?!"

"I'm sorry! I was craving something chocolate at about two this morning and that's what I found. My icing is gone, so I ate your Nutella."

I stared at her, my eyes narrow. "I love you and all, but unless you have some excuse-"

"Nico, I don't feel good! I was starving! I needed something chocolate and that's what I found! We can get you more Nutella! For the gods' sakes, di Angelo, calm down!"

I took a deep breath. "You're right, I'm sorry. But I was gonna bring you some toast with Nutella on it. But I guess you ate all of it. I'll find a good alternative."

She covered her eyes with her arm. "Peanut butter and honey!"

"Okay. Will it make you feel better?

"I sure hope so! And can you maybe get Zach?"

"Why Zach?"

"He has to help me with something. Please?"

"Only because I love you."

"Thank you."

I walked over to her and managed to kiss her lips softly. I Iris-Messaged Zach, after going into the kitchen once again.
