Chapter 10, ditch

It's now Monday morning and I woke up to my phone ringing non-stop. Who the fuck is calling me right now. I rolled over and grabbed my phone and answered the call. "Hello?"

"(y/n) do ya wanna ditch with me today??"

"No."

"Pleaseeee. I'll buy you food." I could imagine his frown right now and I sighed.

"Fine Suna. But I'm going back to sleep so just come over whenever. The back door should be unlocked."

"Ok. I'll be there soon (y/n)."

"Kay. Just don't wake me up. Bye." I hung up on Suna and texted my brother.

(y/n): hey *cough* I'm sick :( I'm gonna stay home so pls call the school so I don't get an unexcused absence :D

I turned my phone off and didn't wait for a response and immediately fell back asleep in peace.

About an hour later I woke up to a loud rumble of thunder. I sat up and noticed the rain and lightning coming down harshly. I then looked to my left and saw Suna sleeping peacefully. Shit he's so cute. I'm such an asshole to him I gotta stop. I laid back down facing away from him and tried to go back to sleep. But with the rain and thunder being so loud I couldn't fall asleep. Hesitantly I rolled over and moved closer to Suna. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his chest. I felt him move and wrap his arms around me and hold me tight. I finally felt more calm and was able to fall back asleep.

I woke up and opened my eyes to see Suna holding his phone in one hand and felt the other arm was still wrapped around my waist. I moved up to see what Suna was doing on his phone and noticed he was scrolling through Tiktok. We watched Tiktoks together for a while until he put his phone down and put all his attention on me. He gently brushed the hair out of my face. "How'd you sleep?" I glared up at him.

"like shit since you came." He frowned and hugged me tighter.

"Sure you did. It's okay to admit you like sleeping next to me. Especially since you're the one who cuddled me first." I looked at him unamused at his words.

"yeah whatever. What about the food you told me you'd get?" He jumped out of the bed, then picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Suna! what the hell are you doing ?!"

"what do you mean? We're going to get food."

"Suna put me down and let me at least get ready first." He gently put me down and I pushed him out of my room while flipping him off at the same time. After I changed I grabbed Suna and went to the car. "Where do you wanna eat?" he shrugged at my question.

"You choose. I'm good with anything." I nodded and pulled out of the driveway. While driving I kept one hand on the wheel and rested the other arm on the middle console. I then feel Suna grab my hand and intertwined our fingers. What the fuck? What do I do oh my god. I can't take my hand away?? Damn. I'll just let it be. I stopped in front of a small ramen shop and looked over at Suna.

"(b/n) said this place was good so I thought we could try it out." He smiled at me and kissed my hand before letting go and climbing out the car.

"let's go eat then."

After we ate we hung out in the car in the parking lot. "When I go to nationals, will you watch me?" I looked up at him confused from his question.

"what do you mean when you do? What if you don't make it?" He smirked and leaned his head back on the headrest.

"you dumbass. We already made it. So I'll be looking for you in the stands." I hummed in response and looked out the window to see it's still raining. The two of us sat in a comfortable silence until Suna spoke up again. "What do you wanna name our kids?" I slowly looked over at him shocked.

"You know we have to make a kid first." He gave me a sly smirk. Next thing I knew he was trying to climb into the back seat but he got stuck between the two front seats. I laughed and pulled him back to the front. "You're a dumbass. I'm not gonna fuck you until we're at least dating." He sighed and crossed his arms while looking out the window like he was a kid. About a minute or two later he swiftly turned around and took both my hands into his. "(y/n), I've never been so happy around someone like I am around you. Please be my girlfriend."

"no"

"WHAT? WHY?"

"try harder." He turned away from me and cleared his throat before turning to face me again. He bit his lip.

"what's up with you shawty? You looking kinda bad ova there. Where my hug at? Nah? Okay anyways. You tryna chill sometime? *growl*" I looked at him like he was stupid.

"did you just fucking growl?" He nodded and bit his lip again. "Oh my god that was so hot Suna! Of course I'll date you!!" I said in the most sarcastic way possible. His face lit up like a child.

"Really??"

"No. Not yet at least."

"So what you're saying is I actually have a chance?"

I sat there and thought about his question for a minute. I mean shit. I do kinda like him. But I haven't known him for long. I looked back over at him to see he's "patiently" waiting for a response.

"Yeah. We'll see where everything goes." He kissed my cheek.

"I bet I can make you fall in love with me by the time nationals ends." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"sure you can pretty boy. If you manage to pull that off I'll marry you and give you as many kids as you want in the future." He held his hand out at me.

"Deal." I took his hand and shook it.

"Deal."
