Okay, you sign, giving Violetkit a tender smile. Can't say no to you. Violetkit immediately perks up and bounces up and down with excitement. She rushes over to you, and nuzzles you. You can feel a loud purr beneath her soft, silky pelt. Thank you, thank you, she signs back.

Violetkit gestures to Mossfur's flowing tail. In her sleep, it shifts a little closer to the ground. Now's our chance, she signs. I go first. Violetkit crept stealthily over to Mossfur's tail. Unsheathing her claws, she grabs a hold of it and begins to pull herself up slowly. When she gets on to Mossfur's body, she gives you a signal.

Flashing a quick look to Brindleclaw to make sure she's not paying attention, you slowly creep after her. Dashing under piles of moss and feathers to make sure you stay undetected, you gradually get closer and closer to Mossfur's tail. You get yourself within leaping distance and wait for the perfect opportunity to jump.

Finally the chance arrives as the tail flicks closer to your hiding place. You unsheath your claws and jump, latching onto Mossfur's tail. The tail is just as soft and fluffy as Violetkit, and it's easy to find new holds for your claws. However, pulling yourself up is harder than it looks. You close your eyes, and it's not hard to imagine you're scaling a mountain as you pull yourself up one grip at a time.

Finally, Violetkit helps you up and you collapse to your side on Mossfur's warm body, panting a bit. You're tired, but climbing Mt. Mossfur's one of the most exhilarating things you've ever done. We made it, you sign to Violetkit.

Violetkit makes that mischievous smile again. She points to Mossfur's head. We haven't climbed the peak, she signs back. You groan a bit, but that smile is infectious and you soon find yourself agreeing to continue the climb to the end. Violetkit and you climb side by side, and soon you've reached the top of Mossfur's head.

You can see everything in the nursery from here, but everything looks so far away. This must be how adults see the world, you think. You can see the other kits still arguing over Mossball all the way down below. Thankfully, Brindleclaw seems to be watching them. However, your luck seems to have run out when Mt. Mossfur begins to stir.

You and Violetkit are sent tumbling down Mossfur's body. Violetkit narrowly manages to snag your scruff with her claws to prevent you from falling all the way to the ground. Mossfur turns to look at the both of your with her wide blue eyes. She lets out a little mraow of laughter and picks you up by your scruff. She gently set you down on the ground. Don't worry, I won't tell, she signs, giving you a knowing look. You nod your head in thanks, happy that at least you won't get in trouble. You nuzzle Violetkit goodbye and head over to Brindleclaw so she won't notice your absence.
