The next week I had raced the number 22 car again and placed second in the feature. It was still good and the sponsor put me as the driver full time. I can now take it to whatever track I want to and be able to race.
It wasn't until the morning after the race that I remembered about Weston. I never got on snap to add him back. I hurried up and logged on. I added him and then messaged him to tell him sorry. I hardly ever use snap since I don't have any friends. I sound pathetic don't I?
(Pretend that says Weston😂 I haven't got a chance to edit)
He wasn't mad that I forgot to add him back. We texted for almost an hour and then I had to go to the kitchen to eat. He had to go and work on his bike so we said that we'd text more later. Today I was going to go look at some vehicles with my parents.
"Hey sweetie did you just wake up?" My mom asked as I made my way to the island and sat down beside Carter. Layla had went back to college last week so now it was back to being just the 5 of us.
"No, I've been up for a little bit." I say and she hands me a plate with pancakes on it.
"Are you still wanting to go look at cars today?" My dad asks and I nod.
"Good because you need your own vehicle. I'm tired of loaning you mine." Carter says and I elbow him hard enough that he looses his balance on the stool. He falls backwards and lands on his butt. "Oh, you're going to regret that!"
He jumps up and charges at me. I slip behind the island and run into the living room with him right on my tail. I run towards my room but he catches me right before I get there. He slings me over his shoulder and runs back to the kitchen with me kicking at him. "Put me down you lardo." I kick again and hit something.
"Ow!" I hear Noah mumble. "I'm not in this, watch where your kicking."
"Sorry." I mumble as Carter sits me back onto my seat while he's almost doubled over in laughing. I kick his shoulder a little and he falls over.
"Alright you two, eat your food and quit injuring your sibling." My dad says and looks at me. I give him a sheepish grin and a small laugh.
"I swear they should have been the twins." My mom mumbles which causes us all to laugh. We've been told that since probably the day I was born. We looked alike and acted the same. We had the same hair, nose and eyes. We also had the same personalities. Sometimes it was good because we could understand each other without talking, but others we would butt heads for days due to our same amount of stubbornness.
