Westons POV

I looked over to the beautiful girl that was sleeping in my passenger seat. She had fallen asleep before we had even got to the bottom of the hill. She looked so cute with her head resting against the window of my truck and her hair all messy. I still couldn't believe that she had kissed me. Not only had she made the first move but she didn't even care that I had dip in. All of the girls back in my home town found that disgusting so I figured she would've too. I'm trying to quit. I hate turning to that or cigarettes when I'm bored or upset. I made up my mind right then and there while staring at Blake's face, I was going to quit using any kind of tobacco.

I tried to shake Blake to wake her up but she didn't even stir. I decided to just carry her into the house and put her in her bed that way she didn't have to wake up. She looked to be in too much of a peaceful sleep to wake up.

I got out of the truck and made my way over to her side. I opened the door and gently held onto her so that she wouldn't fall out while I unbuckled her. She fell into my arms and I carried her bridal style up the stairs to her house. There were lights on so I assumed someone was still awake.

Mason came to the door and looked concerned when he seen me holding his daughter. "Is she okay? She isn't drunk is she?"

"She's fine. She just fell asleep in the truck and I couldn't get her awake so I carried her. Can I take her to her room?" I quickly say. She isn't that heavy but standing there and holding her for that long was really getting hard.

He gestured me inside and held the door open. He walked in front of me to her room so that he could open the door and pull the blankets back. I walked gently through the door facings so that I wouldn't hit her head off of anything. I laid her down on the bed and pulled the blankets over her.

We quietly walked out of her room and shut the door on our way to the living room. "Thank you Weston."

"It was nothing." I say to him.

"Not just for bringing her home but for everything. You've helped her come out of her shell and depression, you got her to go to her first school dance, and you brought her home safely. You've really made a difference in the short time that she's known you." Mason says as he pats my shoulder.

"She's really helped me out a lot too." I tell him honestly. She's gave me something to look forwards to.

"You have a place to stay tonight?" He asks me and I nod.

"I'm heading back to Kentucky tonight." I tell him.

"Are you sure? It's pretty late. You can crash on the couch and head back in the morning." He offers but I shake my head.

"I need to get home. Can you tell Blake that I said goodbye and that I'll text her sometime tomorrow? I'll probably be in bed by the time she wakes up." I ask him and he nods.

"Do you know when you will be back up here?" He asks and I shake my head.

"I'll try to be back in a couple weeks. I think Blake was wanting me to go to her graduation. She didn't ask but she kept mentioning it." I tell him.

"We will save a seat for you then." He tells me and I thank him. "And listen, if you need us, just call. I know you said your home life isn't the best and you are more than welcome to stay here if you are having a problem."

"Thank you." He gives me another pat on the shoulder and walks me to the door.

"It was great to have you around Weston, make sure to come back soon." Avery says as she gives me a hug.

"I will." I tell her with a friendly smile.

"Drive same son." Mason calls as I wave goodbye and head out to my truck. To normal people, being called son by someone doesn't mean very much, but to me, it means a lot.
