Surprisingly, Sirius was the first to wake up as he trotted into the kitchen with his hair in a nest, haphazardly looking for the mugs to make a cup of coffee.
Hearing the ruckus beneath him, Remus woke next dragging his feet as he tiredly boiled the kettle, the two men chatting over some toast about the newspaper that had just arrived.
Then Hermione woke up in Ophelia's bed feeling particularly well rested, to find her best friend curled up beside her, chuckling to herself lightly as it appeared she had fallen asleep while researching. The crooked glasses were askew and her normally quite flattering appearance was ruined by her actively whistling through her nose.Of course however, Hermione wanted to make the most of the summer while they were all together and so made the proactive decision to get dressed and ready for the day, and on her way back to the bedroom after brushing her teeth she poked her head into Ron and Harry's room finding them both knocked out unceremoniously. Their limbs splayed out as an active effort to take up the most room, Hermione nudged Ron awake first.
"Morning Ron." She whispered, crouching by his bedside
Ron cracked open an eye and asked tiredly
"What time is it?"Hermione looked at the clock on the wall, "it's about half nine Ron, get up and get dressed, Phee mentioned she wanted to take us to a nearby spring she likes to go to."
"Five more minutes."
"No, you'll need to get up now so I know you'll be up and ready by the time we need to leave."
"The pond isn't going anywhere Hermione-"
"Spring, and I don't care, come on get up."
Ron groaned into his pillow, as Hermione crept back out of the room again into Ophelia's room. Finding that Ophelia had made herself particularly comfortable by laying diagonally in the now empty bed.
The door creaked open behind her, as Ron and Harry stepped out of their room still in their pyjamas as they headed to the bathroom, sleep still heavy on their eyelids as they attempted to look a tad bit more presentable.
Hermione, having been given permission from Ophelia days prior had begun to look for suitable clothes to wear by the spring, she had said the deepest part of the water was a meter above the head, like the deepest part of a muggle swimming pool but that there water was clean enough to swim in.
This satisfied Hermione enough to pick out a swimming costume to swear under her jumpsuit, which was surprisingly comfier than she had expected. The baby blue periwinkle colour very much suited her, she did a couple twirls in Ophelia's mirror to be completely satisfied before nodding to herself.
Ophelia stirred in her sleep, finally waking as sunlight peaked through the curtains, resting back on her elbows she looked over to Hermione who was admiring her appearance in the mirror, something that was very rare to see.
Yawning, Ophelia sat up as she stretched like a feline, "It suits you, you can keep it if you want to."
Hermione turned and shook her head as she leaned on the side of the bed, looking into her lap.
"I couldn't take this from you.""Well, you can and you will because I don't want it, you're keeping it."
"But Phee-"
"-ah!-"
"but-"
"-ah!-"
"I can't-"
"-ah!-" followed by an intense stare
"Oh alright, fine."
