𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙮, as they dealt with Umbridge's neverending tirade on theory and the apparent ignorance of the Ministry, Ophelia had noticed her replies from her parents were dwindling, fewer and fewer pages each time and it was making Ophelia anxious to think that something was happening and she didn't know what to do about it.
Umbridge had the school in a chokehold as she slowly squeezed the fun out of everyday activities, and Ophelia had sent a dozen handwritten letters of complaint, pleading to the Minister and to important figures in the Ministry, yet she hadn't even had one poxy reply.

The whole school was feeling it as she in essence banned fun all together, especially when it came to young couples, Ophelia and Harry had to cease holding hands the moment that Umbridge came onto the corridor, and resume as soon as she was out of earshot.

Regardless, September breezed by quicker than she thought, as the autumn leaves covered Hogwarts grounds in a moulted brown colour, mixed with reds and oranges. Ophelia loved the sound of leaves crunching underneath her boots and would take to reading outside when the creek would try and knock on her skull a bit.

October was here now, and Ophelia was living for it, after all, Halloween was just around the corner, and so was her birthday, so things to look forward to, definitely.

"Ugh! I cannot believe it! The nerve of her!" exclaimed Hermione, making Ophelia jump slightly as she was eating her breakfast, apple juice snorting out of her nose, as she wiped her nose.

"Please don't yell...I think my brain thinks it's in an appleyard." Phee gasped, coughing with her eyes watering.

Harry and Ron shared a similar glance at one another, as well as to Hermione, who promptly slapped down the Daily Prophet.

""Ministry Passes Educational Decree Number Twenty-Three: Dolores Umbridge Appointed Hogwarts High Inquisitor?"" exclaimed Hermione, looking over at Ophelia, whose face grew three shades paler.

The two boys watched as Ophelia reached forward for the newspaper to read the article, a rather grave expression falling on her features as Ron turned to both girls, whom, after Ophelia had finished reading shared a similar look of dread.

"What's that mean?" asked Ron

"It says here that the High Inquisitor has the power to inspect all of the teachers." said Hermione, pointing to the page in particular.

Harry's jaw dropped open, "You're kidding!"

"Yeah, but that's not all." said Ophelia grimly, "She also has the power to sack teachers as well, this... is very very bad, this is a lot of power for one women to wield and it says here, "The Minster stated himself that "After having revolutionised the teaching of Defence Against the Dark Arts, Dolores Umbridge will have as High Inquisitor powers to address the seriously falling standards at Hogwarts School" So the Minister is behind it, no wonder I haven't been getting replies... if it comes down to it, Umbridge could sack the whole faculty and replace them with other Minsitry Officials."

"And we'd have a teachers table full of Umbridges..." said Hermione with a frown, "Is there any of this that you can get revoked, Phee?"

Ophelia was still going over the decree details, "I could argue it's imposing on freedom of information, and possibly a couple of human rights if she sacks someone without a proper foundation, but... I'm pulling at straws, I can't do anything without evidence, and it's not like I could get Umbridge to let me see her memories."

"You're learning Legillimency, you could do it without asking." said Ron

"Yes, but she has to get valid, public information to pull down Umbridge." said Hermione, "How would Ophelia be able to explain how she got ahold of Umbridge's memories without her consent? Especially when people are already theorising it was some kind of elusive elaborate trick..."
