Snape had also once again, resigned to his silence as he guided her in the general direction towards her grandmothers house, she began to wonder how it was that Snape even knew where it was...
So she decided to ask him.
"How come you know the way to my grandmothers?" Asked Ophelia teeth chattering, her hands in her pockets as the rain had cleared up for the evening, replacing it with the cool sea breeze that shook her bones in her small frame.
Snape glanced down at her, but did not respond.
"You're not going to tell me how you know where my mother's childhood home is? Or do you always know where to go to cause people misery? Like a gravitational pull or something." She asked him, glancing over at the ocean, noticing a boat sailing nearby she stopped to look at it bobbing along the waves, admiring the setting sun on the horizon before she was roughly shoved forward.
Ophelia groaned, but noticed a cafe that was still open on the seafront, she could smell food that was meters away, but as it had been previously established, she would not be able to eat anything until she arrived at her grandmothers.
"When I'm there, can I talk to anyone?" She asked as they turned a street corner.
"Have I overestimated your intelligence Le Fay? I'm sure you know the answer to that." Said Snape, glancing down at her.
"I'm just gaging the parameters of my imprisonment, so no writing, no visiting, no nothing basically until the trial."
"You'll have Tonks, who has volunteered to be your guard for the month... she will be accompanying you if you need to go anywhere and if she is unavailable, I will be put to use."
Ophelia scoffed at that, she tilted her head and asked "What if he calls you? Don't you have to go instantly?"
"What the Dark Lord knows and does not know is none of your concern." Said Snape, pushing open the gate to her grandmothers.
"I'm sure you're just about as pleased with that as I am." Said Ophelia, waiting behind the gate.
Snape did not respond, he knocked thrice on the door and waited, pulling Ophelia by the arm towards the door.
The pit in her stomach grew as she was confronted by none other than Mary Le Fay herself, she swung open the door dressed in her silk pyjamas and her nightgown wrapped almost twice around her small frame, stepping down to Snape she turned to him and asked.
"Just how long to I have with my granddaughter?"
"A month, until the 12th of August." Said Snape
Mary huffed, "So it finally happened, your father couldn't handle you and so he relinquished you to me, I'll see about making this permanent and raising you correctly, I hope she hasn't been a pain my dear, was the journey well?" She said sweetly to Snape, who almost recoiled from the sudden shift in tone.
"The journey was... as pleasant as it could be, her belongings will be arriving tomorrow afternoon, I am her private tutor and will be taking a couple of hours or so in the evening to tutor her properly." Said Snape, clasping his hands behind his back
