The pair made half-hearted attempts to hide the changes by either tying their hair up, or in Ophelia's case wear particularly big sunglasses to cover her nose and cheeks. Of course however, the two girls wanted to walk together to her house, to enjoy the heat through the streets of London that Opheliahad so often walked with her father.

She was certain that if she was dropped anywhere in London she would most definitely be able to find her own way home one way or another, Hermione was enjoying the company of her best friend however as they laughed and scowled at the few boys that had dared to wolf-whistle at them.

"What like they even had a chance with us anyway? We're minors??" Ophelia stated, rolling her eyes as she stuck up two fingers at a group of middle-aged work men sat outside a pub.

"I've seen enough builders bums to last me 4 lifetimes, it's like they've never heard of a belt," Ophelia said exasperated, shaking her head as the blond curls swayed gently in the summer breeze.

"Do you think your dad would mind with what we suggested to him?"

"Oh? About Harry and Ron coming over to hang out too? I don't think he'd mind too much, he always said that if he had another chance he would've wanted a son, so two boys in the house might cheer him up, rather than just us two nattering on at him. But also, it's Harry's birthday so he can't exactly say no."

Recalling the moment in which she had rang the landline number that Harry had given her before the end of term she remembered a grumpy old voice asking who it was he was speaking to.

"Hiya! It's Ophelia? I spoke to your wife at the train station about Harry? I was just wondering if you could put him on the phone for me please?"

She heard the phone being slammed on a countertop of some sort before she heard
"BOYYYYY!!!"

Some footsteps coming closer to the phone before Harry picked up.
"Hi, it's Harry now, who is it?"

"It's Ophelia- ("AND ME!!!" Shouted Hermione in the background) bloody hell Mione you nearly blew me ear off, are you trying to deafen me? ("Oh don't exaggerate I weren't that loud?") Well yeah you were, shout a bit louder, I don't think the dogs in wales heard you loud enough- (*thump* "Just ask him already! Stop stalling!") Well I would be telling him if you weren't actively trying to concuss me Mione! Honestly!!"

Harry laughed down the phone, making Ophelia smile in return.
"As I was saying, we were just wondering if you wanted to pop round to mine tomorrow for like a garden birthday party barbecue thing? It's meant to be nice weather apparently so we're inviting Ron too after this we just wanted to make sure you could come."

"Oh yeah that sounds brilliant! What time?"

"("Anytime after 1 because we'll be setting off then won't we?" Hermione explained) well me and Mione are setting off tomorrow around 1 but if you want to get there a bit earlier so you don't have to deal with Big D or something you can do. ("Who's big D?") Harry's cousin, word on the street is mr Dudley has become quite the road man innit, ("What's a road man?") Hermione? Do you need me to take away the brain cell privilege from you? Come on, you know what a road man is, ("no I don't.") Those guys who were lingering outside the chippy last night when we went to pick up, you know, the ones who offered me a Rolex for an hour-"
